Becoming a single mom by choice?

To be clear yall know it doesn’t take millions to be a stable and great parent to provide for your growing baby BUT having more always always always helps and ads a layer of peace of mind
as kids grow they only continue to need more.
There is nothing worse than feeling like a charity case of a parent, always needing handouts and donation school supplies, food bank groceries and hand me down clothes, toys and baby gear from concerned friends and family because “ they know you don’t have a lot right now” 😩
again, if and when you have more than enough income or a business as an establised and successful woman and you feel you are set financially then it is so much easier when you decide when and how you become a mom
On yours terms
Remember money just gives us better options, quality and the availability to choose 🧡

My mum is a single mum because my father just wasn’t any good. Today I’m 24 and I’m a medical doctor and she did it 99% on her own, my father came back into the picture when I was around 16-17 and during medical school. But I never lacked anything before that and even me becoming a doctor is testament to that. She taught me that if God forbid the man is no good that I can and will be better off doing it on my own like she did. She put all her focus, time and money into me and her rather than focusing on my dad and trying to change him

That is beautiful, thanks for commenting 🙏🏾you def can not change a man, only yourself. I know your mom is proud of you! Single moms have always been capable! Though it isn’t always easy and people will try and judge you and look down. At the end of the day, you can’t care
