2:09 pretty much demonstrates the flawed design features of the sidebar. I love Notion, it's one of my favourite products, but if you're saying "you're using it wrong", it's a UX/UI design problem, not a user problem.
Great presentation Lillie! Thank you! I am trying to get my head around this. Moving the normal wiki page into a database sure looks different, but is probably more effective. Many of the team or department pages have their own wiki setup, based on many of the templates. Is it a good idea to also be moving them into the database format rather than wiki format? Thank you.
Thanks, excellent presentation. While I understand the benefits of using a (any) database, within Notion it makes the output look more "technical". From a layout/UX pov, I'd instead use the first option, as the audience I'm trying to reach probably will find their way easier when using the former. However, maintaining the page might be an issue in the long run. What do you think about this?
can someone explain me how to duplicate for the database, because i don't quite understand how you can cohesively link each other from different workspaces
