I can also relate to having a few wipeouts on the skikes V7s which have the 150mm wheels like your V8s. I now run the V9 Tour with the 200mm tires which are much more stable and work quite well off road on various terrain. The trade off is they are heavier so alternate between classic on inclines and skate on flat ground. I haven't seen anyone else using these in my part of the world (BC Canada) and most people I pass by are quite impressed, but dogs not so much.
Hallo :D You really get to enjoy all kinds of skating techniques during your holidays. I never quite understood, why you would unlock your heel, as the mechanism makes the skate quite heavy, but it does make sense on such terrain. Your effort of filming despite the poles is very much appreciated :)

Good to hear your experience about the V9! Yes they are heavy!
I have been using the V9 Tours for the last year in Vancouver... Often the trails on Stanley Park. Great workout.
Thanks for another great video. I love my Skikes since they allow you to off-road and get that “winter” workout.
I fully agree!

Well thank you! It keeps me off the streets...(actually...it doesn’t...😉)
Hi!! Is it possible to fix the heel if desired?
