Lighting trains will shoot forward up a beyond vertical spike at 120 degrees. First train reaches 460ft only. Tip of track reaches 500ft.
Then go through the course backwards. Switch track happens after ride is over.
The top ten fastest times will be posted on a big board for that day.
No speed record. However the trains will offer a new experience. And the floater air time on the spike will be greater than anything

Wow, I've been watching vids on the TTD reimagination fairly often, but this is the first time I hear someone explicitly point out that the racing logo looks like a 'C' and 'P'. Pretty cool! 'CP racing' has a nice sound to it.

We are going to Cedar Point again in 2024. We want to ride Dragster 2.0 as my son didnt get to ride the original. I have rode the original. Be kinda hard to outdo the original. Just wont be the same. Always love going to Cedar Point. Great coasters and atmosphere. Its like 2 vacations in one. Coasters and Beach! Keep up the great content! Our home park is Hershey. We are always there!

Could you imagine a moto gp theme with stratal coaster coaster cars.
I unfortunately did not get to ride the original TTD but I am so freaking exited for this reimagined dragster to open. The anticipation and drama that CP has stirred up shows that this thing is most likely gonna be good.
That's unfortunate, as the original TTD was so good and iconic... But this reimagined project is so anticipating! And I bet the new ride will be even better! I seriously am so hype for this, can't wait!

In their original announcement, the part that caught my attention was the words "new formula," as in maybe a new Formula One?

What I think is going on with the theme:
The logo resembles both Cedar Point but it also looks a lot like a magnet which would refer to the LSM system
But the logo also is an oval shape, and if they really are going 500ft with a spike, then it would kinda make sense to base it on the Daytona 500 or Indy 500 to fit Nascar or IndyCar oval racing

I’ve always said from the beginning that it was going to be a racing theme since they have never taken down the Finish Line sign, Grandstands, or the checker board Photo Booth building. And also there was the “New Formula for Thrills” teaser.

This might possibly be the most anticipated and hyped up project in roller coaster history. I was at CP Wednesday and yesterday and everytime I looked at Dragster the anticipation and excitement skyrocketed. Super excited. And CP is only 2 and a half hours from me here in Pittsburgh.

I'm starting to speculate about all that information I got, I'm thinking that will have a second top hat that will be connected to another station that is being builded at the other side of the area, after that, I don't know what to overthink

There is no confirmation that Zamperla is working on this. That label could just be from the wildmouse coaster. IF anything Intamin could be working on the track to fit Zamperlas Lighting trains. Just my opinion.
I very highly doubt that unfortunately. But let's hope Zamperla can do great things with this project! 🤞
