The second kitty is shy, slow to warm up, but after she warmed up she was exploring as much as the first one ;) I was totally like that as a kid. Oh and these kittens don't know how lucky they are, to be in a good home like this :)

When we brought home a kitten, we just showed her where her food and litter box were, then put her down on the floor and just let her wander around the house.
The one who won't come out of the case is saying, "No thanks. I'm perfectly content to stay where I am. It's nice and comfy in here." At 3:44, he's thinking, "Leave me the hell alone!" You can tell which one will be the dominant cat. BTW, the first order of business for any new kitten or cat is to show them where the litter box is.

I recommend showing her the litter box first. And then watch her carefully until she shows signs of needing it.
