Real enjoyable video. Great timing, great music which really fits. I really laughed when the giant deer stopped by - just to rub it in. Anyhow, your patience was still rewarded with a good buck!

I really enjoyed this video. The fact that you narrated it after filming made it so much easier to hear what you're saying. Many other self recording hunters whisper during the hunt and it's so hard to hear their spoken words. Thanks it makes a big difference. Well made video and beautiful buck content as well. Better luck next year. :)

Was hunting Elk in northeastern Oregon when I spied a bull's antler's sticking out above a deadfall at the bottom of a small prairie. 5-day season and it was the first animal I had spied on the third day, plopped down on the ground before tossing a rock high in the air. Rock hit the ground, bull jumped up, 300 Magnum barked, and bull was on the ground again. I was feeling quite proud of myself as I worked on the bull and noted that there was an old decommissioned road underneath him that would likely make an easy pack out to the main road once my helpers got there. A few minutes go by and I hear a slight noise that immediately puts me on edge. I look up, and standing in the old road is an absolute BEAST of a Sword Bull. A Monster with a ghostly gray pelt and the most ridiculously vicious antlers I had ever seen on a bull outside of a record book. I felt cheated. After he walked by I immediately jumped on my Rino and try to coordinate with three other hunters to nab, ambush, or otherwise head off this Behemoth. Despite our best efforts, the only thing we ever saw of him after that was his tracks, Wasted the next two days on that particular mountain trying to find him.

Saw a monster with four other jr bucks in a bachelor group sparring and chasing for maybe 20 minutes on nov 8 last season, peak of the chase phase here. Then all got quiet. I hit a doe bleat then two grunts. Five minutes later all 5 come slow walking in spread at 10 to 50 yards. I took the shot and my rage split the nice seven pointers heart. He fell 12 yards from the hit. I had passed on The big 140+ 9pt. He lived to breed. He’s still alive today.
And I didn’t feel one but bad or disappointed. It was one of the best hunts I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing.

Patience is the hardest thing to master in the woods. I would’ve walked out last year with a buck if I had stayed where I was early in the morning. Set up in a spot with massive pine trees and thick bushes for cover, put Code Blue Calming Scent on the trees around me, sat in a lawn chair and waited. Nothing. After lunch came back and felt anxious and moved to a lower spot down the trail-big mistake. The scent from stepping on leaves and my calling to walk that direction, pushed the buck to go around me right over where I had been earlier.

Likewise. I love to deer hunt.....but hunting coyotes is my favorite. Nothing quite like a coyote coming into the FoxPro! I hunt coyotes all year and find June and July to be my best months for coyote hunting. My buddy just mowed the hay in a place with too many coyotes. My 22-250, FoxPro, and i will be after them this Saturday. Nice buck btw! Congratulations

Like it KNEW I was limited out (1) & couldnt do a damn thing about it. Saw " Bigfoots" ( monster mulie) tracks for years afterwards, never saw HIM again! Here is a great late season trick. Get a big tarp and tent stakes on 4 corners. If you have cut corn. Late grass, clover. Before a snow, Stake the tent out to keep the snow off the food sourse. The Next morning keep half the stakes on one side and pull the snow off. That evening be careful not to spook. The next day its on. the snow freezing and thawing hurts their hoves they will find the honey hole.

Been watching quite a few of these videos lately , I'm not a hunter so I have a couple of questions.......
    1. Why are you guys always still whispering after making your shots/hits?
    2. Why does it seem that nobody is ever in a rush to go track the deer down after the shot?
