When ever the days seem like the windows are shut and the curtains are drawn, or I miss the friends and family who have moved on to another time, I close my eyes and hear this song and everything is bright again. Much Love.
WOW! I only just learned of this WONDERFUL artist this past weekend and i AM SO GLAD I DID ! Amelia ,,, keep up the great writing, it takes a great amount of courage to set these words free for all of us to hear and share with you. thank you! a new and solid fan and admirer! 400 OTD
sublime.sweet. lyrically enchanting. thank you amelia for being exactly what this world needs. may you always be creative and brave. i am teaching myself your songs.
Discovered this wonderful woman on a visit to Newfoundland. I'd never heard of her before, but wanted some music from the area. The clerk in the store thought the war brides album was a great choice. It's brilliant!!
@CaptanFZ We're so excited to get her AND Justin Rutledge down in South Carolina this coming week...They will be playing The Sylvia Theater May 20th in York, SC, Friday, May 21st at the Unitarian Universalist Coffeehouse in Columbia, SC, and a special "early" show in Newberry, SC (6pm Start) at The Flying Pie..I'm so excited and honored to have the opportunity to street team for them and am waiting to hear back from Black Mtn and Charleston, SC on two other dates.. Such wonderful talents!
@MsSarjen She's actually from Nova Scotia, I believe! I saw her live though and she was absolutely amazing! If you want some great music from the Newfoundland you should listen to The Once or Matthew Hornell and the Diamond Minds.
