For all of this historical drama? The untamed is number one.. Xiao zhan is the best actor.. I also love the story of The New life begin...Bai Jin Ting is also a good actor...but Liu Wu is the best in historical drama nervana in fire season 1❤❤❤

Totally agree with Xu Kai and Wu Lei, just think they should be higher!! My mom like a New life begins but I'm not into Bai Jingting, Wang He Di is nice In love btw Fairy and Devil, but not one of my favourites, Cheng Yi is a no for me, Yang Yang is handsome but hmmm, nope, Hu Ge is another no for me. Wang Yibo is one of my favourites ever!! Ren Jialun is a great actor, but not better than Yibo or Wu Lei!! Xiao Zhan is the most amazing ever!!! He's so cute!!! I think he's awesome!! :)

Ren Jialun would be towards the bottom of your top 10...I prefer Wu Lei as # 1. His smoldering, stoic, protective and intense looks in Love like the galaxy was the best. I couldn't believe how young he is but he played that character, Ling Buyi absolutely amazingly! My top 5 would be Wu Lei, Xiao Zhan (great in Untamed), Yang Yang, Dylan Wang, Chen Yi. But I can think of other actors who look awesome in period costume that wasn't mentioned here.

I have to say, after watching different studio's films from lots of other countries, and as much as I like a lot them.........the mainland Chinese productions (at least for the costume*historical* films), the main characters, especially the men, wear extremely pale face makeup paired with very red lipstick and guy liner! I feel like I'm watching a vampire movie! It's not that the film is bad, it's just creepy weird make up on all the gentlemen actors!
