    I enjoy the way you present these concepts. I am using your videos to learn more and apply it to lower little league baseball coaching. Keep up the great work.

    I really enjoyed the video, i like the first way because softball is a game of inches & being closer to second base makes my chances of being safe higher. Thank you ⚾️

    If you're starting in front of the base does it make a difference if it is your right foot or left foot on the base?

    Is there any difference in vantage if you lead out front, but have your left leg on bag and right foot out front. I teach this to my daughter so she can always be looking in and drive forward off her power leg ( right).

      In my opinion it’s all preference but left foot out front and right foot on the bag allows for 3 steps whereas if you do opposite like you said, you have to take one extra step to be facing in to the batter

    Meg, do you have any drills to help Catchers both stopping balls and also throws to 2nd?

  • @AvaRose00
    @AvaRose00 2 года назад

    When you were timed, was it off a pitcher? Seems to me that the 2nd way would be faster because you are moving forward before the ball is released. The first way you have no momentum moving forward… good video!

    So can you give me advice because I’m going to move up in to 15 u this year but I’m scared because Ik I’m gonna be shy and timid. I want to try out for the better team but don’t want to make a fool of myself and not make it. So do you have any advice.

    • @MegRemSoftball
      @MegRemSoftball  2 года назад +1

      Don't be scared! Everyone is nervous at tryouts. You'll kick yourself if you give anything less than 100%. Give some positive self talks to yourself and think of how awesome it will be to make the team!

    Great video! I've searched through all your videos looking for something specific but can't find it if there is one. Do you have a video on the importance of positivity and positive body language?

    My 6 yr old is starting softball soon. I think they’re only practicing 2x a week. So I want to help the rest of the time. Can you do a video about catching?
