Thank you for this! When you search ‘2014 Toyota Avalon Blower Motor’, I got all the Camry, Corolla and 4Runner videos. Glad I found this! Appreciate ya!
Thank you for the straightforward video. I still see that you respond often. My 2016 Toyota Camry SE from North America started blowing warm air out of the driver's side but ice cold out of the passenger side vents. I have single-zone climate control and no rear vents. When I'm driving for a while and the AC gets to its coldest on the passenger side, I notice that the driver's side is only 10-20 degrees Fahrenheit warmer than the passenger side vents that are blowing ice cold. Does this point to low freon? I don't believe the AC has ever been serviced. On a separate note that may not be related, my circulation servo starts clicking loudly and rapidly. Checking the OBD2 shows that when it's trying to close, it will get stuck on the second to last pulse and keep trying to close, causing a clicking noise until I disengage the recirculation button. Strangely enough, it doesn't happen every time. Sometimes when it's hot out, it will work just like normal and not click. Other times, it will start clicking immediately. It also clicked very loudly when the car was off a few times after the car was switching to the fresh air vent while parked. Regardless of the circulation motor being loud and clicking 75% of the time and having to turn it off and use fresh air only, the driver's side is always warmer 100% of the time now. From what I can tell, the blend door motor is working fine, as I can switch from cold to hot, and it changes in both vents. But when switching back to cool, only the passenger side vents get cold immediately. Sorry for the long message; I just read all the other responses, so I tried to provide as much information as possible for my single-zone AC issues.
Well that could be possability low refrigeration even check pressure could be faulty read due to hot at pressure so 1st step recharge the system and hopefully it’s good
@RBTheMechanic I did recharge my AC, and that fixed the cooling issue for both the driver and passenger sides. My question is, is the clicking coming from the recirculation motor? What would that part be called if I wanted to replace it myself? I have single climate controls and it only happens when I press the recirculation motor. When recirculation is off and it's only pulling in fresh air, the motor doesn't click. I see that there are multiple different doors, but I can't find one that's just called the recirculation motor. I noticed that when I see the recirculation flap open and close, the clicking only happens when the flap is pushed to the closed side to recirculate air. When it opens to fresh air, there are no issues or clicking. So I've seen it called a few different things like a blend door actuator, but for my 2016 Toyota Camry single-zone climate, I'm looking to replace or at least disconnect the circulation motor to leave it closed in the meantime so it doesn't have power and continue to click when I need recirculation mode.
@@BluRibbonReviews recirculation door actuator is acting up. Typically the tapping it the plastic teeth catching and letting go causing the door to tap. On the camt the actuator is directly to the left of the cabin air filter cover on the side. You can actually see the recirculation door move when activating as long as it's not fully broken. If you look on the passenger side where he's pointing at the actuator. Those screws are pointed to the driverside. There is a actuator above and pointed the opposite direction.
@alfredozertuche784 Thank you for the help. I did get some video of it, so I have been able to tell what I'm looking at. It was just hard to find the correct part number. When looking for just the actuator itself, there were multiple different actuators. I basically left it alone to keep the circulation engaged, but I noticed when the car is parked, it opens back up to let fresh air in. So I know it is still working; it just sometimes seems like it is not catching and continues to send the signal to the motor to continue spinning even though it's already closed, and it starts clicking.
My camry hybrid 2010 is getting a delay to my AC controls when I power up the car, never had this issue, will this fix the problem? What do I have to do?
My 2014 Toyota Camry LE started blowing warm air out of the driver's side but ice-cold air out of the passenger side vents. It has single-zone climate control and no rear vents. I recently purchased the car. Does this indicate low refrigerant or a bad blend door actuator? There is no noise.
Hey RB are there two blend door actuators?, I’m getting warm air on the driver side vents and cold air on the passenger side. Your video shows the passenger side but I’m wondering if there’s a driver side one and if so where would that one be located?
Aloha from Hawaii.. I have a 2017 Toyota Camry. Why does my AC blows cold on the passenger side and warm on driver side? How can I determine if my blend door is at fault?
Check to see if the bled door turns by turning the temp up and down also if u put it on full hot it will give u hot and when u turn the temp down it will get cooler that will indicate it’s turning so do check it visually other wise it could be low refrigerant

Hello sir could you please help me? I have a 2016 Toyota Camry SE that won’t blow cold air just warm but the pressures are fine and it has no leaks but I still had it evacuated and recharged, sadly still no cold air just warm air so I checked the blend door actuator and saw it move but only a quarter turn when I moved the setting from full hot to full cold. I’m not sure what it can be since when I turn it to full hot, it does get very hot but when I turn it to full cold is when it just gets warm. Is it supposed to be turning that little or is it maybe jammed up? Thank you 🙏
Ok so they do spin even if they may not be working? So maybe I do need to change it. 🤔I'm confused i thought because i heard sound and saw movement that i should not change it but it's the lady thing i 😮know to try. Unless i have a leak.
@@RBTheMechanic ok it is turning when I change the temp. I just tested and no freon in there. Now I know why line not cold. I have the new blend door should I change it?
