I love that people are still doing things like this. Playing, experimenting, debating. I want to say this was a point of contention long ago when a friend of mine, TLOU Strategist, also posted a video on RUclips concerning this. I've been playing since 2014 and I've always advocated against using any of the glitches. In the beginning no one was using any of the exploits as they had not been discovered. Like many things nowadays something like that gets discovered and spread on the internet faster than wildfire. It seems like within a few months there was an epidemic of crab walkers, glitch healers and perhaps the most egregious of all the wall shooters. Some claim the argument of "all's fair in Love and war" while others delude themselves that there was no advantage in using glitches. Certainly one cannot argue that all the glitches gave advantage and that thinking to the contrary flew in the face of reason itself. If it gave no advantage why do it I would say. As I said before I was an advocate for playing the game as the developers had intended. But there were those who's counter argument was that this is how the game was designed and these features were available to those who were crafty enough to learn and an employee them. I on the other hand thought this was an attempt to justify what I thought was clearly manipulation of unforeseen game mechanics. Unfortunately there are points of contention like this in video games that would be impossible in real life competitions. Clearly if you had a friend you were playing chess with or basketball or tennis or whatever you wouldn't change the rules in the middle of the game or the match. Unfortunately there seems to be an epidemic of cheating in video games. So much so that they have to develop software in order to find other software that enabled cheating. Fortunately factions did not face this type of dilemma since the introduction of the remastered version. If you look back it's quite likely that you can find videos from factions on the PS3 that exhibit unreal cheating glitches like unlimited ammunition and some form of invulnerability. Two examples I can recall were unlimited launcher ammunition and unlimited assault rifle ammunition. I saw no evidence of this capability in the remastered version and quite likely for me as I've enjoyed this game for nearly a decade I've only had to within recent years put up with some of these glitches people employ. While I'm unhappy about glitches I'm certainly happy I don't have to put up with people using sophisticated software in order to defeat the game. Thank you for posting your findings. Perhaps this will discourage those who use glitches to their advantage. My only defense against such players who would employ these questionable methods is to simply not play with them. Whether they are my opponents or my teammates I can't condone using actions to give unfair advantage. Eventually the cheaters would have no one to play with except for themselves if everyone else refused to play with them.
I look forward to seeing you in the lobbies amongst The Last of Us
    ☮️

My guy, you are speaking my language. I despise dishonesty in all forms, and that includes cheating. Cheaters are lowlifes who have never learned the meaning of honest living and honorable competition. If a cheater is on my team, I tell them to stop cheating and warn them that if they continue, I will throw the match. If they continue, I follow them around, give away their position, block their shots, give myself over to the enemy, and so on until the cheater gets sick of it and leaves. If the cheater is on the enemy team, I'll quit the match. I've been preaching exactly what you said for years, that the more people do this and stop putting up with cheaters, the more they'll be discouraged from doing it because they won't even be able to play. I've been playing since 2013 and I certainly remember starting to see some really off stuff occasionally on PS3, and while it's not as bad on PS4, it's still rampant, especially since people try to justify their cheating by downplaying it as you explained. I've also been a vocal proponent of the "if it didn't give you an advantage, you wouldn't be doing it" stance. I think you and I are a lot alike! Thank you very much for maybe the best comment I've ever gotten on a video, I appreciate you. I've been streaming my way through The Last of Us Part II, so if that interests you, I hope to see you in a stream soon! Much love and respect.

Another thing ti take in consideration is glitch healing while someone is using a first aid kit, you can get 120 on first aid 3 and 60 on first aid 2, im a former glitch healer that realized the error of my ways

Just read your twilight princess Wordpress article. I feel the exact same way. its the most overrated game in the series, you should publish a video on it I'm sure it would get a lot of views like Chyde did

Thank you, I'm glad I'm not alone! Somebody actually published a video inspired by my essay; that may have been it but I'm not sure.
However, I write because I don't really make edited videos. I've made a couple simple ones, but the only video I made that took weeks of editing was The Last of Us Rebastard, which got absolutely no love at all, so I decided I'd rather stream, because it's less time-consuming and people actually enjoy it, rather than spending weeks making something only for nobody to watch it or care. I also don't have video editing software except for the PS4's ShareFactory, which is what I used to make those few edited videos, so if it's a game not on PS4, I have no way to edit videos of it.
Regardless, I appreciate your feedback and for reading my blog! 🙏 Thank you.
