First off, if you're in public, there is nothing they can do. There is no expectation of privacy in public. Besides, you're being watched by cameras everywhere you go anyway.
In public, generally yes, but there are some places where cameras are not allowed - bathrooms, dressing rooms, ect - and so this feature is still useful.
@@StolenJoker84dude what can u record in the dressing room or bathroom? The dressing rooms have doors and bathrooms do as well and who tf looks over the top of urinals?😂
If you hold your finger over the camera lens on the left momentarily when you press the record button, it will work. There needs to be a balance of visible light in both sensors - both need to sense the same intensity of light, dark or through to black.

You could Def turn that off with a little bit of electrical work, but that's not in the average person's wheelhouse. Also if you went to that much work just to secretly record people, the creepy level on display would be off the charts

Not really. Those glasses are impossible to repair/ fiddle with without completely destroying they might find a way but by then it will be obsolete and new middles will have come out
Actually the smart glasses have a use case which hasn't been exploited completely. It's security and avoiding crimes and provide evidence of crimes when they happen. If those problems are solved, then the sales will rise exponentially
Yes you can record people in public, but you can take it far enough to be considered harassment or stalking. If you record someone with the intent to work them up and cause emotional distress then you are harassing, and in some places assaulting them.
Funny how people always reveal themselves by accusing others. Recording in public without people knowing isn't creepy... unless you're just a creep. In public, whether you are aware of it or not... you're likely being recorded from somewhere. Likely multiple cameras anytime you're out & about.
Everyone here is saying how recording without the other person’s knowledge is being a creep, but what if someone is using it to have proof of mistreatment at their place of employment, or if they are trying to get someone to confess to something. Just break the light or if you're technical just take it out.
That’s so dumb just when I was about to buy them they gone ahead and pissed me off with this BS. Hopefully another company makes one.

Wait what if someone took them apart and disable or replace it with a resistor to make it think it is uncovered

You can always put a filter on the light or solder a resistor instead of the light so the hardware thinks the light is working.
The 1 minute cap is what Literally keeps me from buying these
Ok
Most people don’t even know these glasses exist!
Doesn't matter. You can record anything you want in public.

Sharpie?
For people who have stalkers, this is a terrible idea.

No
Except they will keep saying in your ear to uncover the lens
How long can you record for ?
Exactly why I wont buy those glasses. I pay for them but they protect others from me? Screw you Ray Ban!
