"Speak of the devil and he shall appear." "Let's not stand on ceremony." "I was wondering what would break first, your body, or your spirit." "And we give it back to you, the people." "When Gotham turns to ashes, then you have my permission to die." "And hang them, where the world can see." BANE HAS SOME REALLY MEMORABLE QUOTES!! :)
Some other Bane gems "i am afraid not as big as your's" " Victory has defeated you, peace has weakened you" "Theatrics and deception.. powerful weapons for the uninitiated, but we are initiated"
Here are some other memorable Bane dialogues: "No money here... so what are u doing here" "Show me his body...follow him" "search him, then I'll kill you" " Let the games begin" "If we take off the mask would it be painful? Very painful... for you" "So u think darkness is your ally, u merely adopted the darkness, I was born in it molded by it when I first saw light I was already a man" "I am necessary evil, I am Gotham's reckoning" I personally feel that Tom Hardy's Bane performance is greater than Heath Ledger's 'Joker' performance, though I know this would be severely contested
in the first movie, ra's wanted to destroy gotham's body. in the second, the joker wanted to destroy gotham's mind. in the third, bane wanted to destroy gotham's soul.
I thought the somewhat higher pitched voice was nice for Bane. Lots of villains are imagined with deep foreboding voices, but to hear that muffled intelligent, higher pitched voice and look to see this large, broad shouldered man bearing that animalistic mask was a nice contrast. His physique and voice added different, complementing traits to his character.
Oh, you think darkness is your ally? But you merely adopted the dark. I was born in it. Molded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a man, but by then it was nothing to me but blinding! The shadows betray you because they belong to me!
And you just notice all the personalities within each character it just seems so much more detailed and time put into each scene with the dark knight trilogy. They all have there own philosophy of how they live and what they do with their actions. whether it's pursuing natural justice of killing or punishing those who have wronged, as he is taking the law in his own hand like ras.
I've heard it means "The fire rises" which is pretty appropriate since it's a reoccurring (subtle) quote. i.e. in the plane scene, one of Bane's henchmen asks if they've started the fire, and Bane answers that the fire rises, or something similar to that. Also, batman had the bat sign lit on fire
Hans Zimmer and Christopher Nolan have done amazing work together! I don't think the movie would have been the same(together with alot of other movies Zimmer have directed music for) without these amazing tracks! You can't deny that this is hard to achieve, either you like the movie or not..
I don't think he ever said that the comics were obsolete to him (as a matter of fact, I remember in an interview he wanted to work with someone who understood the comics really well). I ultimately truly enjoyed his interpretation of the batman world as much as I loved the animated series' interpretation (they did wonders actually), and Rocksteady's version as well. I think the question here is was the essence of batman's symbolism and meaning communicated well here, and I think it was.
I was listening this song with my eyes closed and I tough the screaming part was unbelievable, until I open my eyes and it was my wife and mother in law screaming at me ...
Well he was about to kill Batman and I think the point of his death was to just be a jump moment because in the theater I almost jumped out of my seat because it was really loud when you just hear an explosion. I thought it worked pretty well. Sure they probably could have killed him off a different way but he wasn't the main villain anymore when Talia came in the picture.
Earlier in the movie Alfred explained that there was nothing in gotham for bruce wayne except misery, so when Bruce escaped the explosion he let everyone think that both he and Batman died. However he left clues for certain people to know that Bruce was alive, the point being that he allowed Batman to die as hero so he could live on freely as Bruce Wayne.
Bane is overwhelmingly intense and scary, yet hilariously silly at the same time. Speaking louder than a low whisper breaks the intimidation factor and he becomes a sophisticate Mickey Mouse XD
1st. Reality sucks (most of the time) 2nd. Killing Bane with a drone would take the US ARMY about 10 years (like with Bin Laden) and many innocent civlists would die due to drone missile attacks..(like in afghanistan and pakistan) -->IDIOTS -.- 3rd. Metric system pls.... !Comment contains spelling and grammar mistakes !
FEAR2Ghost Since when has the US EVER cared about civilian casulties. If 100,000 civilians die but the enemy surrenders, then the US calls that mission complete to absolute perfection.
liamdudeeee they haven´t surrender and this shouldn´t be accepted . Love is the reason why there is pain. When we lose someone precious to us, hate is born. Vengeance is the product of that hate and so death follows. But in death there is only more death. This will give rise to more pains. In this cursed world we live in, it is a cycle of hatred that will not cease. How to confront this hatred in order to create peace?
Zimmer is genius. I like how the themes in TKDR and Begins/TDK are structurally similar but have very different tones. It's a direct juxtaposition of Batman and Bane much how the comics tended to do. These too characters were always very alike but very different.
Oh, you think darkness is your ally? But you merely adopted the dark; I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but BLINDING!
Honestly with everyone so outspoken in their political beliefs then why dont we actually do something about it? The press and government rarely read the comments on youtube videos from what I can tell, if you want to have your views taken seriously then maybe try and publish them somewhere else besides a batman soundtrack. I'm sincere, there is a horrific climate of political apathy to issues as are discussed in all these videos, with the press favouring celeb pieces for example. Can everyone take the same passionate opinions to an actual political forum and get some shit done?
yeah I engage in actual activism in the real world. but I suppose i don't make stupid political comments on batman soundtracks so you are clearly preaching to the choir on this one.

Of course how could I have forgotten "Let the games begin" XD
"Peace has cost you your strength, victory has defeated you" *punches Batman in the face with Batman's own fist
11:24 This is for me, the best part from all the 3 movies soundtrack (and i heard them all). Amazing, epic and beautiful.
11:11
This track alone made TDKR have one of the greatest movie intros of all time
in the first movie, ra's wanted to destroy gotham's body.
in the second, the joker wanted to destroy gotham's mind.
in the third, bane wanted to destroy gotham's soul.
poor Gotham...
Hail hydra !!
But Gotham have the Batman !
Lol..you've watched this movie way too many times..
Is that what the thermonuclear bomb was for? Think that might have covered all the bases.
I honestly wondered how listening to Bane's theme song can start an argument between nations and religions....
Well, I guess the fire rises :P
This is RUclips; intelligence not required ;)

But mistaken
Gotta love the dark night's villians. Respect for Christopher Nolan!
Part at around 11:14 is awesome. (I think that was the sound playing during the "plane-scene" in the beginning)
I start a world war in my head every time i hear banes theme song
if Hans Zimmer and Zach Hemsey worked on a piece, then the world would end
I think they have for Inception
Nick Abad an he just did a remix of one of hans' tracks...
Perhaps for the new Justice League film? Oh the happiness I would have if the worked together!
FISH! FISH!..PASTA! PASTA!...FISH! FISH!..PASTA! PASTA!...FISH! FISH!..PASTA! PASTA!...

i hate you xD
Nooooooo! My favorite shouts in movies ruined forever!!! LOL
THIS IS SPAR-TA, THIS IS SPAR-TA, THIS IS SPAR-TA, THIS IS SPAR-TA, THIS IS SPAR-TA!!!
Hans Zimmer's transitions and echoes are amazing!! The change at 2:40...and so on.
"perhaps he's wondering why someone would shoot a man, before throwing him out of a plane? "
"It doesn't matter who we are, what matters is our plan"
If I take that off, will you die?
"It will be extremely painful"
your a big guy!
Vergil1876 "For you"

I waited since 1989 for a batman movie as epic as this one.

Theatricality and Deception.... Powerful Agents of the Uninitiated. But we are initiated aren't we Bruce......
Members of The League of Shadows!!!!

+Mr. Aquarius

Then make the climb, as the child ( Thalia) did, without the rope. Then fear will find you again.
You are absolutely right in ever possible way dude! Could not have said it better myself :)
Speak of the Devil.... and he shall appear....

"Ah yes, I wondered what would break first! Your spirit, or your body?"
I was listening this song with my eyes closed and I tough the screaming part was unbelievable, until I open my eyes and it was my wife and mother in law screaming at me ...
lols man.
Although I do enjoy the original Bane concept, I must say, this Bane is far superior as he hits on so much more levels than a drug fueled thug.
such an epic soundtrack gives me the chills. hans zimmer, clint mansell, jesper kyd they all make epic music!!
Best track from TDK trilogy.
This is the true form of terror. awesome
Well he was about to kill Batman and I think the point of his death was to just be a jump moment because in the theater I almost jumped out of my seat because it was really loud when you just hear an explosion. this is the soundtrack to my life now
ZIMMER IS GENIUS !!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you! Added it to a playlist.
Nolan's Bane (according to Nolan himself) was not so much from the comics. It was his own version that he wanted to put in the final film.
The theme song that best describes 2020
What would happen if I hit dislike ?
Bane : It would be extremely painful...
Me: You seem like a big guy.
Bane: ... For u !!!
Earlier in the movie Alfred explained that there was nothing in gotham for bruce wayne except misery, so when Bruce escaped the explosion he let everyone think that both he and Batman died. Let the games begin
The most epic, deep, and helpful comment I have read on RUclips !
Thank you
Let's not stand on ceremony here, Mr. Wayne.
This version of the music is an absolute masterpiece.
Long live the League of Shadows!
Bane is overwhelmingly intense and scary, yet hilariously silly at the same time. Speaking louder than a low whisper breaks the intimidation factor and he becomes a sophisticate Mickey Mouse XD
Bane:The Fire Rises
Me: no The Dark Knight Rises
Lmao
Is this where humanity has come to?
You nailed it!

I always contemplate on how gay that scene sounds lol
I can't believe Nolan doesnt have an oscar for at least one of these movies, jesus
In reality the US probably would have just hit bane with a guided missile from a drone like 40,000 feet above Gotham
1st. Reality sucks (most of the time)
2nd. Killing Bane with a drone would take the US ARMY about 10 years (like with Bin Laden) and many innocent civlists would die due to drone missile attacks..(like in afghanistan and pakistan) -->IDIOTS -.-

And what about the neutron bomb??!
Think for once!!
What's wrong with you people?
You never think?

it doesn't matter who we are, what it matters is our plan. no one cared who I was until I put on the mask.
No one cared who I was until I took it up the ass.
In the whole movie there was no explanation for Bane's great strenghth!!
Do you know what happens with your body without fiber?
You merely adopted the 90s.
I was born in it.
Raised in it!
I'm here to fulfill ras al ghuls destiny .... Syncing this music to his iPod
A masterpiece
The kingpin from the daredevil series vs bane... Who would win?
Bane.
+Doctor Fletcher probably ya
Really good catch. Does indeed sound like that!
Dr Pavel, I'm CIA.
He wasn’t alone.
this is the power
you think the darkness is your ally?
i can't unhear that.
was making this theme part of your plan?
Of course!
Hans zimmer refused our song in favor of yours, we had to find out what he composed for you.
this is awesome. I wish this was on the actual score.
ICH BIN SPARTA SPARTA
ICH BIN SPARTA SPARTA
Oh, you think darkness is your ally? But you merely adopted the dark; I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but BLINDING!
