The most amazing thing that I love about your journals are that you keep up with it consistently. Even you fill the future ones sometimes. I really love your journal. I have a question! What do you do with your journals that gets finished!? ❤
Hehe - I skip some days but I do try to keep up with it 🥰. I have a bookshelf that I keep all my finished journals on. I might one day have to stash them in a storage box since they are starting to become too numerous for my shelf! 😱😊
Impressed with your tidiness, I have a large bedroom as a studio and sometimes it’s an absolute disaster area! All my stickers and stamps are in tins and baskets, must try harder to store them better…
Aww! Thanks! I need to show you guys my messes sometime ~ it can get crazy when I start filming (stickers and boxes everywhere- on my bed, on the floor) and I have to clean up after, haha. But, yes, boxes and sticker books really help 😁
@@GentleNest Thank you for your support to my smol channel too! Don’t feel you do have to respond to all of my comments to! This video really was lovely!
Wow! This is amazing! I finally found someone like me! She is so rare! Many journalists cover the whole page with stickers and only keep 1/4 of the space blank. You are so like me! I don’t like pages crowded with stickers
Hi, your journal looks great , I wanted to know “what’s stickers are those? ” , it looks like printed on the paper. Once u remove the top layer in the end. Wow!! Please let me know
Hi!! So sorry for the late response (I am catching up now, hehe) ~ I get those stickers from AliExpres. I will update the description with links to those stickers ^__^
It’s so cute I do got a question Is it like ok if your handwriting isn’t the best looking or do u want it to be really neat? Or does it just depend on the look you are going for?
Hi, Jessica! This is a wonderful question ~ I think it's actually the beauty of handwritten letters to have some imperfections (As long as your handwriting is legible, hehe). These inconsistencies between letters, spacing, and font types (I frequently alternate between cursive and print, all caps and tiny fonts...etc.)...these all create moods in the letter. More than that, it carries your voice. When we write, our emotions have a natural tendency to show up in the way our letters get drawn on the page. I know when I feel relaxed, my handwriting tends to be more even, spaced closer, ...it just has a look to it. If I'm excited, the letters get bigger, more slanted...these are all natural/unintentional touches only seen in handwritten pieces. Also, have fun choosing a font style! Some of my friends have more "bubbly" letters and others write like an engineer in grid-like print. I didn't expect to say so much on this, but it truly is such a fun thing to experiment with! Go with da flow!! ^__^
I just love it so much❣️ One thing I don't understand is, that so many people aren't annoyed of the thin paper / ghosting - i would probably freak out 😅 I don't understand the hype about Stalogy / Hobonichi and the Midori Journals (The Midori TN I think is lovely though because it's so versatile) - they all have horribly ghosting 🤷🏼♀️ what is the "nice thing" about them? 🤔 I'm REALLY curious! I don't buy any journals with less than 120g/sm paper to avoid ghosting. I just COULDN'T start writing /drawing on a page, where you can see almost every detail from the last page you have filled... How do you guys deal with it? 😅
Hehe ~ yes, many of these journals get a cult following. The ghosting is a very real problem, and the way to work around it is usually to adapt writing and stationery tools that won't bleed or ghost as easily. Techniques can also further reduce ghosting, such as learning how to write with lighter pressure or layering colors strategically. The ghosting is unavoidable due to the volume of pages desired in a relatively compact journal (for example, the Hobonichi boasts 365 pages for each day + 52 for weeklies + monthlies and other extra pages, without becoming bulky like most others I've seen in stores). I believe people love the Hobonichi because of this all-in-one, slim quality (along with other prized features like high-quality stitch-back binding, which is more durable than cheaper counterparts and lets it always lay-flat without bending the spine, along with the detailed-yet-minimal layouts that help with planning and organization). Moreover, many of these journals use Tomoe River Paper, which is prized for its thin-yet-durable quality. Tomoe River Paper is perhaps the only kind that can withstand ink and watercolors (without bleeding or disintegrating) at the thinness that journals like the Hobonichi demand. I personally own both the Hobonichi and Midori because while the Hobonichi is perfect for keeping my planning and journaling in one, portable book, the midori provides a clean, minimal all-purpose notebook I can use for anything else (although to be fair for serious art sketches I use heavy-weight paper notepads---but that's for art, not journaling, haha). SO - I'll end it there since this was alot, but I hope that kindof helps 😅
Tbh, I stopped using headers or titles that uses colors or designing. Doing that caused me to stop doing journaling. I became lazy whenever I thought of doing or writing on my journal. So I decided to stop doing the headers that way. Now, I will just put the time I started writing, the day that I wrote it and the date. I don't wanna jinx myself, but after doing it that way, I am doing my journal almost every night. I'm sorry for my grammar mistakes everyone.
I am so happy you found your journaling rhythm! 💛. Minimalistic journaling is super effective for many people ~ a wonderful way to keep thoughts and memories alive without the extra-ness of decorating, hehe 😉

Hi! Sorry for the delay in response. The MU rub on stickers can be found on Etsy (link in the description. "Journal Jo" and "Meowashi" are the best stores for rub on stickers). ...I scoured the internet and I also can't find the Stick Me stickers anywhere (originally bought from AliExpress "Mr. Paper" store, but they are out of stock) - they are among my favorite stickers so I will be keeping a lookout so I can hopefully update the product links.
Thank you!! 🌼 I believe that one is "cliff hanger" by Essie. I have alot of earth-toned polish, so I'm not 100% sure, though. But "cliff hanger" is one of my favorites ^__^
Hi! I have been having a hard time finding those stickers ~ they are a favorite of mine. The only store that reliably sells them that I’ve found is this one; s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DeGyJB5
Hi!! Sorry for the late reply. The MU sticker books are from Etsy. If you lookup “MU sticker book” you should be able to find them. I hope this is still helpful for you!
^___^ hehe ~ I love questions, you are welcome to ask as many as you like!! I journal super randomly. Sometimes my brain isn't awake enough to think clearly and any attempts to write comes out super jumbled. But I am *trying* to journal at least once a day, hehe.
Hey I'm new here to journaling um is it something sort of like a diary ? Or like people just wright about random things or there are specific themes every time that we pick
Hi, Elena! There are all sorts of ways to journal, and you are actually approaching it so wonderfully ~ by asking these kinds of questions 🥰. The answer is ….it depends :). There’s really no wrong way to go about it, and the easiest way to get started is by asking yourself what you’d like to remember or discover through journaling. Some people journal to remember their history, so the topic is “what happened today”. But also many times journaling helps one discover things about themselves (such as trends in health or sleep patterns or goals and personal growth). I personally like to do all of these. So I actually keep several journals. They have different purposes. One is a diary. A diary is usually a place for private thinking, where you can record your inmost thoughts and desires, whether to keep a record of your life or to take counsel with yourself. I keep a diary separate from my main journal, in order to process through emotional times in my life (good or bad). Because it is private, it gives a lot of freedom of expression. Popular topics include writing about love interests, thoughts about who you want to be or how you feel about yourself and others, or about hard times. I like to pretend I’m writing to a most trusted friend about what’s on my mind lately. In contrast, the Hobonichi journal like the one I have shown, is great for recording events and details about the day I just lived. The topic varies, but I try to record what happened during the day. It’s like taking a photo ~ capturing a memory of how I lived. Over time I have found that certain memories I would have otherwise forgotten got saved because of my journals. It encourages me to see just how much happened in my past. Days that would otherwise be a blur in my mind get more clear through journaling. I hope it helps! Be free and explore! There’s no wrong way to journal and I hope you find the method that works best for you!
Hi, Insha! I get nearly all of my stickers from AliExpress (links in the description) - I hope that helps! Many of them also get featured in my haul videos with links for specific stickers.
Hi, Shabnaj! I always choose free shipping so mine take a long time -- On normal days (before 2020) free shipping would normally take 30-60 days. But since 2020 some have taken months to arrive. I have yet to lose a single package, but sometimes they can arrive well beyond the date for confirming your order. I think the price is worth the wait, but I'm also hoping things go back to normal soon! I hope that helps!
Aw! I’m sure you have good things to write! The beauty of journaling is that it is good for training observation and reflection. These things always take time and lots of messy practice before anyone finds their own ideal journal style. Thank you for stopping by and sharing this thought! I hope you find your ideal life, whether a diary is included or not 🥰
Hi Kelly! I mostly get my stickers from AliExpress, but Etsy is also a good place to get stickers from specific creators :). I’ve included links in the description (esp. the haul videos) for your browsing leisure ☺️🌷
Hi, Kelly! Not yet. I’ve been thinking about it, though, so perhaps in the future at some point.... I’ll be sure to announce it here on RUclips if I decide to do one ^__^
Hi, Louise! My favorite brushpens are TomBow brushpens. And then I use pilot gel pens for the rest of the writing. I included links in the description ~ hope that helps ☺️
an easier way to cut out the stickers without tearing the paper apart is using a craft knife and outlining the sticker you want and cutting it out ^.^ i like it that way more so there's less scraps and papers
I feel so guilty right now I’ve never actually written in it this is new when I bought and it looks so ugly and plane can you give me some tips how to make my regular time marble composite composition book look cuter maybe?
Aw! Of course! I used those very notebooks for years when I first started journaling :). The best thing for those is Modge Podge. Especially if you want to decorate the cover, Modge Podge will really glue down whatever you put on there. Beyond that, I find that the easiest path to an aesthetic notebook is to keep it simple. Choose a color palette that has a lot of neutrals (I look on Pinterest for minimal journals). Then it will look clean no matter what you write. Of course, if you want to have a very colorful journal, lookup Art journaling. Beyond that there are many, many styles of journals to choose from. But those two I have found most easy to adopt especially on a budget :)
PS. Just thought of something else - I recently updated my bookshelf’s aesthetic by making cheap book covers using wrapping paper. Pretty wrapping paper folded over the cover instantly updates the look of any book, including the composition notebook :). ~ hope these help!
Hello big sister, I am so satisfied from your all videos, I always observes your neatness, u always do everything peacefully, and I think u love stationary items very much, I have few questions, 1st is, that where are you from ( currently living ), and how can you afford these all, because my parents are not able to afford all because these are so expensive in INDIA, and some are not available also, but it doesn't mean that I have nothing, I have a lots of thing, like, sketch pens, types of highlighters, stickers, tape, decorative material and more, but I have nothing like you have, u have a lots of stickers old material and many thing and sometimes I also do diy for these types of supplies, but I can't afford these so I can't do anything very perfectly, but I like to maintain a journal or a diary with lots of emotions and many stickers and decoration, and I am thinking for maintain a BTS journal ( k-pop ). And I want to ask that, can u do a giveaway for us, for those who can't afford these And in last, I just want to thank for being a inspiration for me ❤️, you are such a classy and down to earth girl. I love your nature 😘 Loves from Anshika:- ❤️
Hi, Anshika! Thank you for this sweet comment! I currently live in the US and have a full-time job (this is a blessing, even though it takes up much of my time). So stationery is a treat I can now afford, but for many years I only had cheap notebooks, pens, and colored pencils. You can create much beauty and interest without spending any money on stationery (maybe I will make videos using limited supplies!). In my opinion, what makes journals and letters so precious is the handmade quality and the thoughts inside. That said, a giveaway is also a great idea. I have never done one before, but I'm sure I can find many examples and tips to get me started. Thank you for leaving these thoughts! It was wonderful to read :)
Hi! Here I am writing freely - whatever comes to my mind about the day. Some people call it just plain old "classic journaling", since it doesn't follow a specific format. It is different from "bullet journaling" (for example), where you write things in the form of a list, often with the goal of minimalistic presentation and brevity of thought. It's also different from "brain dumping" (characterized by an intense session of writing *everything* on your mind so that you can sort through them or just experience the theraputic release of getting all your ideas and tasks on paper). Here, I'm not focused on getting everything in my brain down on paper. The closest description for this kind of journal is a "diary" (which is any journal containing personal thoughts and feelings, along with records of daily life). I hope that helps!
Something I really appreciate about this is that you are actually keeping a journal. A lot of others fill their journals with nice stickers and photos then write two sentences and it's underwhelming. You have paragraphs, quotes, poems, etc. It's very helpful.

Great video! and sound!!! which microphone did you use?
Thank you!! I just used my iPhone’s mic. :)
@@GentleNest wow Thanks!
Love it! What is your nail color here? I really like it.
Thank you!! 🌼 I believe that one is "cliff hanger" by Essie. I have alot of earth-toned polish, so I'm not 100% sure, though. But "cliff hanger" is one of my favorites ^__^
@@GentleNest Thank you so much! I love it! It is perfect for fall.❤️
Hii where are the stickers from 2:48 from?
Hi! I have been having a hard time finding those stickers ~ they are a favorite of mine. The only store that reliably sells them that I’ve found is this one; s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DeGyJB5
They sell out frequently :/
0:11 where did you get that file from pleaseee? 💞
Hey! It is from Muji :)
@@GentleNest thank you!! I can’t seem to find it anywhere online and especially ones that will ship to the uk.. :(( do you have a link please? 💞
Hiiii! Can I know where you get your sticker books
Hi!! Sorry for the late reply. The MU sticker books are from Etsy. If you lookup “MU sticker book” you should be able to find them. I hope this is still helpful for you!
Hi which pen did you use?
Asmr ♡
Hi I love watching your videos❤please please come back
Aww! Thank you for the love! I just started filming some new videos ~ this little turtle is hoping to come back online soon ^__^
I also have another question lol sry but do you journal every day or just on certain days? ^w^
^___^ hehe ~ I love questions, you are welcome to ask as many as you like!! I journal super randomly. Sometimes my brain isn't awake enough to think clearly and any attempts to write comes out super jumbled. But I am *trying* to journal at least once a day, hehe.
I feel you sometimes my brain doesn’t want to work either lol :p
@Gentle Nest thank you you helped a lot ! 🙏
hey! where are all of your washi stickers from?
Hi, Joss! I get them from Aliexpress. You can find links in the description of my haul videos ~ I hope that helps! ^_^
Hey where you get your products from all the stickers looks cute tho🙈🙈❤️
Hi, Insha! I get nearly all of my stickers from AliExpress (links in the description) - I hope that helps! Many of them also get featured in my haul videos with links for specific stickers.
Thankyou😘
Rn I'm journaling with youu💓💓
Awwww! This makes me so happy!
When you purchase supplies off aliexpress, how long does it take to arrive for you? I want to order off there, but delivery looks super long.
If you'd like a package to arrive sooner, you an always choose a different shipping method before checking out.
I wish I could record a diary like this, but I keep struggling on what to write
Aw! I’m sure you have good things to write! The beauty of journaling is that it is good for training observation and reflection. These things always take time and lots of messy practice before anyone finds their own ideal journal style. Thank you for stopping by and sharing this thought! I hope you find your ideal life, whether a diary is included or not 🥰

where do you get all your stickers?
Hi Kelly! I mostly get my stickers from AliExpress, but Etsy is also a good place to get stickers from specific creators :). I’ve included links in the description (esp. the haul videos) for your browsing leisure ☺️🌷
do you have any giveaways recently?
Hi, Kelly! Not yet. I’ve been thinking about it, though, so perhaps in the future at some point.... I’ll be sure to announce it here on RUclips if I decide to do one ^__^
what pens do you use x
Hi, Louise! My favorite brushpens are TomBow brushpens. And then I use pilot gel pens for the rest of the writing. I included links in the description ~ hope that helps ☺️
What to do in journal
an easier way to cut out the stickers without tearing the paper apart is using a craft knife and outlining the sticker you want and cutting it out ^.^ i like it that way more so there's less scraps and papers
This is a great idea! Thanks, mint suga ~ I might give it a try, although my skills with a craft knife are only so-so, haha.
And I want to ask that, can u do a giveaway for us, for those who can't afford these
And in last, I just want to thank for being a inspiration for me ❤️, you are such a classy and down to earth girl. I love your nature 😘
Loves from Anshika:- ❤️

What type of journaling is this i always gets confused
@@GentleNest omg yes it makes perfect sense thank you 😊
