    I have a lithium ion battery in my M3 that costs over $2k. It's why I'm looking into this. Thanks for the review.

    News FLASH-this battery doesn't charge well in very cold environments as well as the old B124X extension batteries. You may need to first heat up the B130X with your cars heater before it will charge efficiently.
    I have several setups with both in one car and the B124X expansion batteries seem to be more efficient, even though both batteries are made by the same company and are in the most efficient mode.

    Hi waiting for delivery of a C8 corvette convertible. Looking for the best, least obtrusive setup for front and back as the back window goes down when the convertible is lowered. Thanks!!! Parking mode is important.

    Really loved the explanations in this video, however I do have 1 question. Let's say I hardwire this and it gives me 20 hours on a single camera on a car that I daily commute with. Would that mean that the camera would be recording essentially 24/7 all year round? While this wouldn't damage my car battery isn't this a quick way to fry the camera?

    • @chefgav1
      @chefgav1 Год назад

      Why would it fry the camera?

    • @DonsShed
      @DonsShed Год назад

      Yes, the camera would be on 24/7. However what you can do, is whilst your car is, lets say, in your garage, just unplug the power from your dashcam and it won't be on, so it can't draw power from the battery or over use your camera.

      Just select “Motion” or “Impact” while in parking. No need to run it continuously in “Timelapse” mode. “Timelapse” will continuously record at 1 FPS until battery is dead. The other 2 will initiate recording.

    Nice review. I'm wondering where can I find the adapter that charges the battery at home with 2 socket because I'm living in Europe. This one has 3 socket.? Please help me with this ❤

    I have the B-112 battery which runs down pretty quickly since I mostly do driving in town for short trips. So why does my BlackVue DR770 record all the time in my garage when there is no movement or impacts? That’s why it runs down the battery so quickly. Going to upgrade to the B-130 very soon but don’t want the same problems of recording my garage walls.

    • @integralcamerasolutions
      @integralcamerasolutions  Год назад +1

      I have this exact same problem. My commute is only 10 min tops. Do you have it set to the regular motion detection mode though? I get some recordings in my garage too but it shouldn't be continuous if nothing is moving in your garage. But even if its not triggering recordings it is using power. I have asked Blackvue in the past why they can't add geofencing to shut off parking mode at home but been talking about that for years and haven't seen that feature implemented.

      @@integralcamerasolutions Had a tech hardwire the 130 in my car today. This thing is as heavy as a brick. Very solid. The tech said I might have my sensitivity to high on the app. So he turned that down as it was on high. But he said I could also just turn the battery off when it is parked in the garage. Will likely do that. It's in the glove box so easy to get at. Will also save a lot of battery strength if I don't drive long enough.

    You say it's smaller size than the previous model but the text you put up on the video shows it being 30mm longer?

    • @integralcamerasolutions
      @integralcamerasolutions  Год назад

      But it's smaller in the other two dimensions, so it's overall size is slightly smaller. It's not a big difference but their goal they claim was to make it fit in a glove box better because glove boxes are long length wise but not deep or tall in height. So a narrower and thinner battery that's slightly longer and overall slightly smaller volume.

    So far Im not impressed with my B130X. I have a 2ch 900x plus with lte… in my garage no movement and I only get 15 hours on this battery

    • @integralcamerasolutions
      @integralcamerasolutions  Год назад +2

      Yea I also run a 900X Plus 2CH with LTE and its really just a power hog. But currently this is the best dash cam battery that I know of. It will depend on you driving enough each day to keep it charged.
      I am using a hardwire to my trucks dual purpose 92ah battery and still have issues in the winter. Because of this, I typically just unplug the camera when I get home, then once the engine is off, plug it back in. This way I don't forget to plug it back in the next day, but I am not running all night long.
      I also set a 9 hour limit on parking mode, just enough to cover a full day at work.

    I saw a review on the power cell 8 and the reviewer said that you must disconnect the dash cam battery from the cigarette when switching off the vehicle to prevent the vehicle battery from dying does that apply to this battery pack?

    • @goldyfgf
      @goldyfgf Год назад +2

      That only applies to if your vehicle has a constant on power running to the cigarette power source. My power cell 8 recently stopped working/charging for about a year and a month which is upsetting for the price and limited to 1 year warranty. It was great and was able to add an expansion battery pack which this newer version of Blackvue doesn't allow you to do so. :/

    • @integralcamerasolutions
      @integralcamerasolutions  Год назад +1

      Sorry for the late response, I don't think it would be, but mostly because this model does not allow expansion batteries so your setup has more capacity. Blackvue said very few people do the expansion battery which is why they removed it to save costs.
