      @@riba2233 because I have other festool products and love the continuity of their system approach. 3year all inclusive warranty. The ability to keep one cord attached to the hose switching front tool to tool. Organization the systainers offer. I know I’m getting an amazing product

      @@riba2233I own the SP6000 and I have been contemplating switching to the TS55 for some time for these reasons:
      -The removable power cord.
      -a removable splinter guard for right side cutting
      -lever that actually locks the blade instead of a spring mechanism that just grabs the pin for change blades.
      -they have a cover plate for better dust extraction.
      -2 simple features that Makita over looked, markings for the front and back of blade as well as depth gauge that accounts for the track.
      How does Makita overlook markings for the blade as shown in the video, and why does Makita’s gauge not account for the track thickness? The TS55 is a far better all around machine, it cost more because far more engineering went into it. And it’s not even that much more expensive.

    Im new to woodworking, and i want to get a saw what would you pick between the TSC and the HKC and why. Money isn't an issue, so the whole (instert tool brand) does the same thinf for half the price is irrelevant. Im retired and have money to burn, so I want to festool

    • @minioli01
      @minioli01 8 месяцев назад

      Festool suggest that an irrepressible meed to give them money is the only justification you need. They also suggest you buy two because these are very easy to lose.

    • @Dr_Kurt
      @Dr_Kurt 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@minioli01 well the guy used this stopper to avoid kickback when plunging into the wood. which is the basic use case for a plunge saw. Plus the 60K has kickback stop what makes these stoppers redundant anyway.

    • @minioli01
      @minioli01 8 месяцев назад

      @@Dr_Kurt the two tracksaw I tried had knob on the heel of the saw you could adjust so it wouldn’t go backwards on the track. As you said this block is redundant.

    Load of rubbish. 1) that saw has kick back stop. 2) Those lines only apply when the blade is at full depth. The only way to do this accurately is by watching the blade in 99% of situations.
    No offence though. You’re a great craftsman, and make good videos usually.
