  • Makita ER2600L Whipper Snipper - arrived DOA. I show you how I do a full tune up. This one was near new but had a broken fuel line inside the fuel tank. This tune-up method will work with any whipper snipper / line trimmer.

    Cheers mate!
I followed your vid and my snipper (same make and model) runs like new again. Best part is my 9yr old daughter followed your video and tuned my other snipper on her own (with supervisionl but without being told what to do)
    Thanks again

Hey mate, my primer rubber bubble won't bounce back when i press it. It kinda 'squashes' and takes a whole minute to return to it's normal shape. Is it a trapped vacuum issue somewhere in the line? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Cheers

If the bulb is in good condition, it could be a blocked prime line. Suggest a blow through with compressed air, clean the carby mesh filter and if you have one, an ultrasonic clean. Good luck.

Ive got this! Mine idles fine but under throttle chokes itself and cuts out! Especially when its warm. Wonder what the issue is?

High speed mixture jet is too rich. Get it warm and run it flat out, then use a screw driver to wind the mixture screw in, you will hear it rev up.
