The way racing greyhounds are treated around the world is horrible. It’s wonderful to know that around the world people are invested in recovering greyhounds that would otherwise be euthanized.
Poor Disco. Tachycardia is super scary- as an anxiety sufferer, I will get an episode every other week or so. Can last anywhere from half a minute to ten or so. You really feel like you will die. And then the heart suddenly jolts itself back into normal rhythm and all is well again until next time.
I had SVT when I was a teen. Had surgery to fix it and been fine since. Never considered that animals could get it too, but it makes sense. Glad your son outgrew the SVT. 18 years is a good long time with a pup too. I'm sure it was a happy 18 years.
@@Philip02K mine was caused by an extra pathway for the signal to make a feedback loop. They had to ablate it so I wouldn't have to be on meds for the rest of my life.
The first time I saw baby guinea pigs I was astounded at how large they were in relation to the mother's size. They're enormous lol. I was expecting something like a little closer to a baby mouse size. Even pandas have smaller babies 😂
I hate people, who use their animal to scare other or to look cool, to shock. Seeing only first second and I'm hating the guy with snake. Snakes feel sounds and can be scared by loud noises or music. No animal should be used for show.
I've kept snakes for 20 years, including Royal Pythons and Boa Constrictors. I lost one of my Boas 2 years ago. He was 18. I still have his brother but not sure for how much longer. No vet can cure old age. Boas if handled correctly are very docile and laid back but like you say, they feel sound and like any other creature, loud noises can scare them. Interestingly, my Royal Python is good at predicting the weather. He'll sit on top of his house (cave) if there's a thunderstorm brewing. In the wild they live among tree roots so when they sense a storm they climb to higher ground or up a tree so they don't get drowned. Snakes are fascinating creatures.
poor Doggy get well soon Sleep Well and Merry Christmas hope Santa and Your owner gives You lots of bones and Dog biscuits and dog toys and a new dog collad and a new dog kennel and also a new dog lease
Disco's issue is that he hates that awful new music and it's stressing him out. I'm sure those Guinea Pigs are happy that they're not living in Ecuador. There they may experience "Disco Inferno".
Sad 😢 horses go to a place to be killed. What they need is to be sent to a rescue. So, they can be placed in loving homes. Just like race dogs and ones that served our country. It is really good when their handlers want to adopt them. Glad all the animals gotten well taken care of, by a good group of vets.
The tech was smiling AT the doggo, and about the procedure being done. NOT the condition it was in. In my case I’d also smile and laugh about an ultrasound. And for all we know that could be his coping mechanism / he could just be an optimistic person as a whole. I’m not saying that he might not find pleasure in others pain, it’s just my options seem more likely, as his behaviour would’ve been obvious to others if he held bad intentions.
Indearly hope Daisys surgery all goes well and that the drug wont workbI hope they work soon and that He or She lives and had a Merry Christmas and gets cisited by Sant

I'm so glad they were able to slow down the spaniel's heart. He's an old boy and deserves to be with his people when he goes.
I'm obsessed with the vet that loves the guinea pigs. How effing adorable is that?!? He's so sweet

I remember as a kid they had a greyhound track 30 minsnfrom our house. It was removed in mid 90s. Sad.
Ours have been shut down in FL thank God ❤

Thank you for including the greyhound training. I never knew. There are some life lessons in there!
Daisy says if Daddy says it's okay it's okay. she kept looking back at Daddy ❤.
One of my nieces, in Auckland NZ, has an Ex greyhound racer and when they moved from Syd, to Akld, they brought him, with them.
My son has SVT.....and we had a Stringer Spaniel.......hit too close for me. Thankfully my son outgrew the SVT. Springer left us after 18 years.....

The Guinea pigs are so cute
I'm with Peter! Guinea Pigs are the best. So cute and sweet. I'm glad Disco made it and will have more time with his family.

Mery Christmas Caneilia
The male tech keeps smiling . That concerns me . Nothing to smile about when that cocker was gasping for air

Cherry eye is pretty common.
AMONG ALL DOMESTIC
ANIMALS RABBITS+GUINAPIGS R
MY 2 UNFAVORITE ANIMALS
I have inappropriate sinus tachycardia so i understand supraventricular tachycardia all too well.
Cardiomyopathy, could give Adinosine or cardio vert
Disco needed adenosine and if that doesn’t work cardiovert
ECG or echocardiography would be better
