Another absolute classic!! Tech is one of the most consistent emcees in my lifetime, was put on to him in the early 2000s and have listened to everything he’s done since, it’s nearly impossible to pick a bad track!
@@untitledflu7437 hate to be ‘that guy’ but, the term emcee/MC/M.C. has been around since the late 1970s in rap/hip hop culture and it’s a derivative term for ‘Master of Ceremonies’
This song is like a legendary tale from the hood of which wherever you go in America there's a William many ppl knew growing up. Being from NYC I can totally relate but it's about society as a whole.
So many years ....the same feeling from new York to Bucharest dance with devil I project it's something in your front all the time !when you see the dance go back !peace
Immortal technique is one of those independent rappers who is ridiculously intelligent. He tells hard truths and tears back the curtain on ghetto life/politics/social injustice/the hypocrisy of the world we live in. I’m sorry for making you guys feel uncomfortable, this really is the introduction to Immortal Technique, everyone should hear this, maybe only once, but please do more 🙏 ‘Rich Man’s World’ is awesome, rapped from the perspective of the mega rich. Thank you guys again for reacting to this one ❤❤
😂😂🤣 this song is evil but very impactful and it never ceases to make me laugh watching peoples faces change so much from bobbing and enjoying to stiff and uncomfortable.
he says he was there to make the story telling better but he wasnt, even though its technically not true it basically is cause stuff like this happens everyday. its a harsh listen but its the world we live in
Im in my 30s and seen some stuff. This song actually had me get emotional. The horrific part is its more true than you think. This kind of thing happens
Thanks very much Feral and Rob,much appreciated. Not the most uplifting start to the week, but hey - life aint uplifting 24/7/365 - facts.Lyrics aside, got an East coast rap vibe from this, which is my thing so all's good there, loved that.Seems like he has very similar moral/political leanings as Ren,so i'm down with that,Cheers for the reaction guys🙌
@@RENegadeMaster77 As soon as I saw it come up this morning I thought ‘oh god, this is going to ruin a few people’s start to the week’ 😅 but as dark as it is, this is based on a true story from his days in Harlem (he explains more in an interview on RUclips from last year - ‘American Cholo Dance With The Devil, Is Real?’) so I always think as hard as it is for us to hear, imagine how hard it was to live your life surrounded by this, especially if you’re female; and I think that’s what he was trying to convey and imo he nailed it.
@@The-Feral-Child Very true, you were bang on in your other comment about hearing it at least once,it is difficult for numerous reasons, but sometimes we do need our eyes and ears to be fully open to,or reminded of,whats goes on,and still is going on in the world.Jenny & Screech is another obvious example,at best it's an uncomfortable experience for most, but still an important piece of work.

Whoever recommended this to you guys is diabolical 💀 I remember listening to this as a kid and it stuck with me
@@alexelizabeth2910 I introduced this song to 2 of my friends while we was drunk at 3am🤣
@@alexelizabeth2910 not really diabolical it's a pretty serious lesson based song. Though it is quite dark it doesn't encouragement such behavior.
i bet, this reminds me of polly by nirvana, for the "spreading awareness" part but other than that, this is insane for a kid to listen to
Darkest hip hop song ever, and they knew nothing going into it, that's perfect
You guys looked like innocent people so i wanted to see what was the reaction haha a very valid reaction honestly
had them stunned 😭

Story telling at its finest.
I just watched a Jenny and screech reaction and they kept mentioning this song. Ive heard others mention it as well. Lets see.😮
The moral of the story: Don't dance with the devil.
Your own music is good btw
