If got a tip for you all that will make your life easier. You can shift click outputs to reset them, and you can shift click the middle to reset all of the outputs
I built this in my FTB world but with a few changes - there's a second input for sandstone, which has a fairly decent chance of producing niter when pulverized. The niter is used normally to produce the cryotheum dust. Since the main output of the pulverized sandstone is two sand blocks, I have a cyclic assembly that crafts the sand back into sandstone blocks and feeds it directly back into the pulverizer. The only output as a result is cryotheum dust, and my sandstone lasts 50% longer!
+Phoxtane The pulverizer dumps the resulting sand out the back and gets fed back into the cyclic assembler that's above it via conduits, thus does get recycled. I'll have to double-check the video to see if I mentioned that and to make sure the "rebuild" chapter 3 has that working or if it's not explicitly mentioned. Thanks for the feedback! :D Update: @15:01 I do mention the sandstone loop to recycle the sand to the assembler. Whew, glad I had that in the video as that's a great optimizer to keep the niter production up.
This should be useful (especcially for BigReactors), but I keep getting worried that I am doing too much late game work early game, I just started like 2 or 3 days ago and I've already gotten to the moon (actually my friend is the one that made us the stuff, which in turn wasted all but 3 pieces of our iron)
Depends on what you consider late-game stuff. Iron can be solved with a quarry or iron farm (really simple and quick in a 1.7.10 world). Once you get an Enderman farm and a gold farm, you'll be able to churn through most of the end-game stuff fairly easily.
This is awesome! I'm going to build thing on the Technic server I play on. Just have to use something besides the EnderIO crafter as on our server, there is a conflict and the EnderIO crafter will crash the server (first hand experience there) :| Also, I'm going to utilize my ME for storage and input/output of raw materials. (We use ender quarries so Cobber is something I have a lot of :) I do really like the switching on and off though. Thanks for the great video!
+Jason La Due Yeah, another buildcraft crafter could work. I liked the enderIO crafter since it is easy to manage multiple item types being feed into it (since it doesn't have a misc. "buffer" like the TE crafter). Since the Igneous Extruder doesn't use power to create cobble, I viewed it as a 100% free resource rather than having to bring it in from some quarry source (which isn't "infinite" anyway :P), but yes, burning quarry cobble is a great way to not have to nullify it. Glad you like it!
That's a fantastic idea! Btw, ExtraUtilities adds the Ender Quarry which has a silk touch modifier. You could add a "world hole generator" on it which will cause it to make a hole like the Buildcraft quarry rather than replacing ores with stone (default action). It also has a speed modifier which makes it work way faster than the BC one too. With the silk touch on it, I generate more cinnabar than I use.
dont forget that the ender quarry can be any size (can literally be 1x1 or 100000x100000, it can mine it all, i believe highest value for it is 4,294,967,295 due to 32bit integer limit) unlike the bc quarry that has a set size of 9x9 unless you use landmarks for it (up to 64x64)
That's a good point. I usually do 200x200 grids with my Ender Quarries, but since it mines vertical columns instead of levels like the BC Quarry, it doesn't really matter what size you have it (unless you want to just set-and-forget it).
arent cryo fluxducts used all the time? also this doesnt work anymore does it? it looks like the recipie was changed from destabilised redstone to experience which is both good and bad, might be harder or easier depending on the other mods
just so u know, cyro pipes can transfer more than 2.1 bil/t u can see this when using 2 tier 8 DE balls. example: ball 1 with 8 extract points tied into 1 cryo pipe line into 1 input on ball 2 will yeild 2b*number of attaches on export
Depending on the other mods in the pack, there may not be a good way to get infinite redstone. I suppose there's always the fallback to a standard witch farm, though, if need be... I don't know if that'll keep up, though, as I've tested with an Ender IO Powered Spawner witch farm with an octadic capacitor, and it only barely keeps up with production if you throw about 5 stacks of seed redstone in first.
Running an Ender Quarry from ExtraUtilities should keep your redstone well-stocked with the proper silk touch module and ore-doubling processing. I usually get about 12 redstone per redstone ore. A Buildcraft quarry could help in a pinch. An old-fashioned witch farm does work if your modpack is that berift of options. Usually sieving with Ex Nihilo or picking magic crops can keep you topped off. Fluid cows can give you raw destabilized redstone. As you mention, powered spawners work, but I'd recommend using 4 or more for high output ;) A good Big Reactors setup should help with power consumption. If you have Advanced Solar Panels, just put a bunch of them in the Mining World for 24/7 full-power.
draconic evolution has a spawner that poops mobs harder out than when I have diarrhea so that kan easily keep up with this setup and cost no power but it wil cost a lot of materials and is high end game
If i am correct (Warning: My Memory about Minecraft reached only to the Beta Versions of the Additionaly Named mods (Minecraft Beta) , i may be incorrect) you can do the following to completely Make the Cryothium Production Infinite: - Energy Source: Quantum Solar Panels (Industrial Craft 2) - Redstone Source: UU-Matter To create UU-Matter you need that certain Machine from Industrial Craft wich only Uses Energy, and with the help of UU-Matter you can create inside an Automatic Crafting Table Redstone Dust.
If you have a powered witch spawner, or some way like you suggest to create redstone dust, then yes, solar panels, windmills, etc could make this automatic and infinite. Using the nominal power for this machine and feeding it redstone from a quarry is near-enough to infinite for practically all setups. :)
in the 2.30 update of ftb revelation I beleive the crafting recipe for cryothium has changed and the only way to obtain blizz powder now is from blizz rods. or using liquid xp instead of redstone
Yeah, plenty of modpacks change the recipes, sometimes significantly (Kappa-mode FTB for instance). I tried to target this vid toward modpacks that run closer to stock configs. (the modpack used in the video is actually Project Ozone 2).
I think a draconic evolution spawnder would be the best for the blitz rods. just use spikes and like that you have free blitz rods. just for the people that have those mods and didnt figured it put themself
I have a strange issue where the magma crucible and the fluid transposer fill up with water when i leave the machine running. Any idea what might cause this?
Also it doesnt work for me i made everything. I found that the main issue was that the magma crucible was pulling in snowballs which i put an item filter for redstone. However; after doing that all the red stone was going to the magma crucible none of the redstone goes to the crafter. Is there a way to fix this?
Sounds like you have problems with the input/output of your machine sides and/or piping issues. Follow through the build phase step-by-step and you should have no problems.
Is there a way to make blazing pyrotheum? I'm playin with a Skyblock Modpack (Minecraft Sky Official) with Ex Nihilo, so could it be possible to infinite generate pyrotheum?
Yes there is actually! Pyrotheum Dust is made from coal, sulfur, redstone dust, and blaze powder (rather than the cryotheum recipe using snowballs, etc). Coal ore, when SAGed, creates sulfur as a byproduct, so that would be the source for sulfur. Glowstone can be fluid-transposed with destabilized redstone to create blaze powder. The only inputs needed would be coal ore, redstone dust, and glowstone.
I'm not sure but I believe since u have practically infinite Redstone could it be that the fluid transposer has been maxed out and thus the extra Redstone can me transported to the crafter. Cause I put in a stack of Redstone and all of it goes to the magma crucible.could it be that both are on the red channel?
Yeah, I've gotten to the stage where I can just run capacitors in a chain instead of cables. :D I just really like the look of Cryo-Stablized Flux Ducts though. ;)
Sorry, I meant the /models/ (3px arms vs 4px) not the skins. I don't see another difference between 1.7 and 1.8 besides the shape of the arms, and the choice between them is still yours if I remember correctly
These days you require Liquid XP instead of Destabilized Redstone in order to turn snowballs into Blizz Powder, but on a bright side, you don't need niter anymore!
I sometimes forget when testing my own custom mod packs to make sure they work, and My brain just burns out wondering what is going on. then I remember. Oh.....
Yep! I had slimes and nasties spawning outside of the tutorial room's walls, so I kicked it into Peaceful to stop it. Should have just muted hostile creatures and I would have been fine ;)
Not all packs have mystcraft, fluidcows, agricraft, etc as means of getting this easily. A machine like this is fairly generic enough to work with just TE and perhaps one other mod if necessary. :)
If got a tip for you all that will make your life easier.
You can shift click outputs to reset them, and you can shift click the middle to reset all of the outputs
I was just about to say that!
Ah so thats how people do that

Ahh, tasty Cryotheum. Who knew it would be easier than hunting Blizz.
I'm looking forward to trying this idea. Brilliant combination of machines.
I do what I can. ;) I have all sorts of fun making purpose-built machine clusters like this for my modded worlds.
This should be useful (especcially for BigReactors), but I keep getting worried that I am doing too much late game work early game, I just started like 2 or 3 days ago and I've already gotten to the moon (actually my friend is the one that made us the stuff, which in turn wasted all but 3 pieces of our iron)

Did I just watch a minecraft tutorial by Seth Rogen?
Not sure if that's a compliment or not :D
I just found a captured a blizz then built a mob farm instead, it was easier - but I'm still using the latter half of the build so thanks a lot :)
Very cool machine configuration for a very important item in the game!
This is just fantastic. Cryotheum is useful for so many things, like cinnabar for induction smelting
Yep! I pump all my redstone ore through the pulverizer just for cinnabar. :)
I would, but I can't find a silk touch quarry. So, I'm going to liquid transpose the cryotheum onto thaumcraft cinnabar ore, which produces cinnabar.
That's a fantastic idea!
Btw, ExtraUtilities adds the Ender Quarry which has a silk touch modifier. Great and compact system!
arent cryo fluxducts used all the time? also this doesnt work anymore does it? it looks like the recipie was changed from destabilised redstone to experience which is both good and bad, might be harder or easier depending on the other mods
To think of all this. You are a genius.
just so u know, cyro pipes can transfer more than 2.1 bil/t u can see this when using 2 tier 8 DE balls.
example:
ball 1 with 8 extract points tied into 1 cryo pipe line into 1 input on ball 2 will yeild 2b*number of attaches on export
Yep. That's why I made this machine to begin with: unlimited cryo pipes ;)

Well, this setup is mainly useful for when you need to churn out cryo-stabilized fluxducts en masse, so I'd call that End Game too ;)
İnfinity gauntlet (but if that exist maybe with orespawn)
If i am correct (Warning: My Memory about Minecraft reached only to the Beta Versions of the Additionaly Named mods (Minecraft Beta) , i may be incorrect) you can do the following to completely Make the Cryothium Production Infinite:
- Energy Source: Quantum Solar Panels (Industrial Craft 2)
- Redstone Source: UU-Matter
To create UU-Matter you need that certain Machine from Industrial Craft wich only Uses Energy, and with the help of UU-Matter you can create inside an Automatic Crafting Table Redstone Dust.

Using the nominal power for this machine and feeding it redstone from a quarry is near-enough to infinite for practically all setups. :)
So I havent gotten enderium and its still hard for me to do so. Does this machine NEED a resonant pulverizer? or can i just use a regular one
resonant is just so you can add augments that increase the secondary chance, making the process more efficient is all.
in the 2.30 update of ftb revelation I beleive the crafting recipe for cryothium has changed and the only way to obtain blizz powder now is from blizz rods. or using liquid xp instead of redstone

This guy automates.
This is just a stand-alone machine. You should see my AE system ;)
I think a draconic evolution spawnder would be the best for the blitz rods. just use spikes and like that you have free blitz rods. just for the people that have those mods and didnt figured it put themself
but thats boring!
Mmmm, refreshing goo.
I know if mobs touch it they turn into SNOWMEN!! lol, that's about all I know tho :P
Thats alot of effort, if you have enderio just make a blizz spawner.
Hello, do you knwo a way to turn back destablized redstone (liquid) into redstone dust?
One mistake was putting the nullifier on higher priority than the cache other than that everything seem fine
Yeah, I'm too used to Linux service priorities where the lower the number, the higher the priority. :)
Ammaross Plays haha i though about it the same way first time using the mod... figured it out tho when everything got voided
Nice video
I have a strange issue where the magma crucible and the fluid transposer fill up with water when i leave the machine running. Any idea what might cause this?
Is the magma crucible accepting input of snowballs?
Do u know the best way to automate resonant ender? I'm kinda struggling in my server
enter pearl farm + magma crucible lmao
Probably late, but there's an augment for the igneous that allows you to create sand; couldn't that eliminate the sag mills?
yes it would. :)
Ya so if you could try to figure it out cause I've tried various methods but nothing seems to be working thanks😊
How did you get a Blizz spawn egg? The 1.12 pack I'm playing has no eggs.
Blizz spawn eggs were in the pack if you played Creative mode in 1.7.10 when I made this. :)
so you also need to provide lava in addition to energy and redstone
The lava is not consumed by that machine
I'm not sure but I believe since u have practically infinite Redstone could it be that the fluid transposer has been maxed out and thus the extra Redstone can me transported to the crafter. Cause I put in a stack of Redstone and all of it goes to the magma crucible.could it be that both are on the red channel?
I'd have to watch the vid again, but I likely put it on round-robin
Good video
Thank you!
That reminds me of my automatic tnt making machine.
Interesting
Does this still work?
i used the capacitor bank as an insane level of power transfer cable. lol
Yeah, I've gotten to the stage where I can just run capacitors in a chain instead of cables. :D I just really like the look of Cryo-Stablized Flux Ducts though. ;)
That skin is beautiful!
Thanks! Took a bit of load-and-tweak to make it just right. Shame it's still a 1.7 skin version. I haven't spent the time to rework it for 1.8+ :(
I thought we had a choice between the Alex and Steve player models. Or are you talking about something else?
Brian Summers You can download a template skin and customize it and upload it in your account management on Mojang's site.
Sorry, I meant the /models/ (3px arms vs 4px) not the skins. I don't see another difference between 1.7 and 1.8 besides the shape of the arms, and the choice between them is still yours if I remember correctly
They also added additional transparency layers that you can customize too.
Dude... two words, Magic bees
ArkaelDren Not all modpacks have magic bees (sometimes for that very reason).
Does it still work in today's packs?
These days you require Liquid XP instead of Destabilized Redstone in order to turn snowballs into Blizz Powder, but on a bright side, you don't need niter anymore!
you sound like darkkmane (he is a league youtuber tho)
I'm not quite that awesome (yet!), but thanks. :)
Nice and compact system btw
Did what I could. May have been smaller to stuff it into AE2, but it's more visual (and easier) this way. ;)
I can't craft reservoirs I did it exactly as shown in too many items but it won't work I just use drums
Whatever works best for you. In 1.11.2, DSUs can take an infinite water mod as well.
You where in peaceful so that's why they where despawning.
Yeah, one of those derp moments for sure :D
I sometimes forget when testing my own custom mod packs to make sure they work, and My brain just burns out wondering what is going on.
then I remember. Oh.....
Yep! I had slimes and nasties spawning outside of the tutorial room's walls, so I kicked it into Peaceful to stop it. Should have just muted hostile creatures and I would have been fine ;)
You sound like kermit
I find a blizz in the desert biome
At default settings, they're found only in cold biomes. Your modpack must have different spawning parameters.
what's intro song
or you could just install mystcraft
use the MOO FLUID MOOMOO
Not all packs have fluid cows. :P
-_- Did this video have English?
+SDSK Yep! "welcome!" and "thanks for watching!" :P
+Ammaross Ha-Ha touché
It's called mystcraft
Not all packs have mystcraft, fluidcows, agricraft, etc as means of getting this easily. A machine like this is fairly generic enough to work with just TE and perhaps one other mod if necessary. :)
