Why are people hating on the way she looks? Just because shes a woman doesnt mean she have to paint her face and do her hair. Shes pro independent women and I think its just her way of not conforming to what a woman should be.

Looking back...........listening to this interview in 2020 its crazy how basic Ryan is and how misogynistic his views are.....Not saying he's a wanna be macho or horrible but you can tell he is so surprised by her Non apologetic attitude. Apparently back then it was really shocking to see a straightforward woman who wasn't trying to be sweet and complacent. Cheers to 2020 and the fact that people don't think such women are necessarily lesbians!!!!!
@rvggarcon Also, speaking as a dancer/choreographer, not only is her music beyond incredible to dance to, it is literally like a canvas to paint some of the most incredible choreography upon. But I am sure, in your opinion, that dance too must have a deeply meaningful base.

@rvggarcon Her music isn't meant to be deep, it isn't meant to summarize the meaning of life. Her music is dance music, it is meant to be danced to, and if you do not think it is revolutionary, you are crazy. She is the only female artist (i believe in 20+ years or so) to have as many number ones as she has, and think about how many people have "copied" her image lately, everyone...Beyonce, Christina, Rihanna, they all suddenly became edgy as soon as she stepped on the scene.
She is so inspiring to me. Can’t believe how absurd Ryan’s questions are.

Also totally agree with the Lady Gaga comment, she is tired and not new, its very catchy pop tunes but not genius or deep as people think. Grace jones did the same thing like 25 years ago, Marilyn Manson..it really is tired and she idolizes Grace Jones which means she tries to be like her which is not unique.
I agree with Kelly on the general dislike that most people have when it comes to powerful women - been there myself. Wish she'd taken off her sunglasses when she made the point, though.

Regarding gender roles, there seems to be a lot of overcompensation here, that it's not enough just to be assertive, that because Kelly is a woman she has to do everything an assertive man does but do it in all caps and as confrontational as possible. This didn't age well. (

@rvggarcon You are seriously not listening, I did not say the 2010 Spring Collection was a haute couture show, if we are going to argue with each other, let us at least be on the same page. I understand the show was not a haute couture show, I understand he is not part of that family of designers, what you do not seem to grasp is that while the show was not a HC show, the looks clearly were, though you fail to acknowledge that thought it was the only thing I pointed out in the first place.
