I think the reason why they applaud Emily so much is because she sounded so alike with Mel B from the original singers.
Objectively, Emily is the standout member in Wannabe. Her powerful dance + clear voice + smooth rap + bubbly energy + chemistry with the members, she fits the performance and concept the most. She embodied Wannabe as if it's made for her. Her rap part is definitely the highlight. Even her "slam slam slam" part is so charming. Not to mention how she resembles the original artist.
Emily deserves more recognition and praises. But it's disappointing how people still keeps on ignoring and discrediting her talents and charisma just because she's not on their ideal lineup. Since the start, the blonde white girl should not be on a diverse group lol.
Daniela has been consistent since mission 1 she is so talented and she shine wherever team she’s at I can’t take off my eyes off of her 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🫶🏼
Sophia singing style is very theatrical/Disney type of voice so that’s why it doesn’t sound very special to others but it’s fine since she’s still finding her pop tone.

Her voice is very good at harmonizing. The group needs an anchor who can blend well in any different type of vocal texture and that is Sophia.
I think lara fits better in Buttons & Sophia in Confidence ( she has the fewest lines here) but both still did amazing and they are very consistent since day 1 up to now.

i think celestes part when she sings {baby cant u see..} couldnt have been pulled off by any other in the team, i think her voice is unique and she hasnt been getting any songs that fits her, but its really nice to have vocal diversity in a group. And btw, her facial expressions felt really fitting, i couldnt take my eyes off her. but its still funny to hear you critique them LOL

The Marquis is so good but so underrated. People forget that she's only 17. She is clearly one of the favorites in this round. In the second round, she was given one line and damn little screen time, it's a pity, but it will be very difficult for her to make her debut. Not everyone will see such a talent
After watching the fancams of confident, i realized the order of the high notes sequence at the end was Megan, Marquise, and Lara. Lara only did the final high note when she was in the front center. I feel she handled all of her parts very well with no vocal errors so she 100% got my vote as was the case with previous stages.
Sophia and Daniela’s stage presence and chemistry was so good. One didn’t overpowered the other. Their vocal tones blended well with each other. Daniela’s lines when she dances are just *chef’s kiss*. Sophia is very charismatic and whenever she performs, she always delivers. Girl wants to secure her spot.
On the other hand, Manon let’s face it, she’s beautiful like a doll and she can sing (they definitely gave her more lines and exposure in this challenge), but she needs more power in her dance and facial expressions. She really needs to work on her charms and use her visuals to her advantage. Cause girl, you’re trying to become a performer not a model.
Emily and Ezrela’s vibe and tonality matched with the theme of the song sm that I feel like they’re safe for the next round. You know, to keep the ball rolling.
My line-up:
1. Samara (versatile and stable vocals while doing hard choreography, her, Lara, Yoonchae/Nayoung can have a belting showdown lol but she could be main vocalist for sure although she got that solo material, sometimes she stands-out and sometimes others can out-stand her in a group performance)
2. Sophia (strong vocals and dance, she has that potential plus leader material, and come on! her and Samara’s fan base are strong, you need that in a global group.)
3. Daniela (she can carry a tune but hands down main dancer)
4. Maybe Lara (lead vocalist)
5. Yoonchae/Nayoung (I don’t think they would put two Koreans in the group, Nayoung might thrive as a soloist and Yoonchae in a kpop girl group)
6. Manon/Megan (the talent is there plus both are undeniably gorgeous if only Megan’s energy can be transferred to Manon lol)
7. Emily/Ezrela/Marquis/Celeste (just bc of the fan base and their potential)
It’s not about who stands out the most but if they can work well as group. You remembered what happened to Brooklyn (they made people think that she was trying to pull all the attention towards her on the last episode or idk). Maybe the producers might pull a Jisoo we’ll never know lol they prolly have their final line-up by now. It’s just that they’re ALL just so talented and most of them are all-rounders, in this leg of the race our opinions are just for the views and hype of the upcoming girl group.
Nayoung is doing the first high note and then Manon is the second high note in buttons. It's getting super hard to choose!! Been waiting all day for a reaction! The mission 3 reactions have been dry!

I don't think both high notes / runs are Lara, the first and second run is Yoonchae and last two runs is Lara. Lara is very stable, I agree that Yoonchae's notes were a bit shaky but she is pretty good.
You said in the beginning you can’t just be a main dancer, Emily just showed you she could be a main rapper, her voice is so clear and her accent was amazing she sounded like the og, hate on Emily all u want, she is very talented and deserves to debut, (her vocals improved btw)
Honestly, Emily's voice was never bad. People just wanted to downplay her that's why they were claiming it. Emily has a good clear voice, but her lines in Antifragile was more of talk-singing so it didn't show her full potential. But in Wannabe, she really showcased her stable vocals and her clear voice even fitted for rapping. She has a smooth flow and pleasing voice.
Y’all are such Emily haters but it’s so clear that the producers love her and are pushing for her to make it regardless of her popularity. It’s like Matthew from boys planet this mission-they clearly gave Emily more lines and opportunity to shine because they wanna make it hard to get rid of her.
Emily is really good and should make her debut, but the other songs from the previous challenges didn't help her

For me, Team Wannabe was the best. Many thought they were the weakest and weren't expecting much from them, but they proved otherwise. They were perfect together. They were always looking at each other and that gave me the feeling of harmony (something I couldn't see in the other groups), Team Wannabe wasn't just following the "script" or each doing their own part of the performance, they were having fun and that's what caught my attention. The choreography may not have been the most difficult, but they made the simple look cool and engaging. The vocals (even if pre-recorded) were great and the facial expressions were incredible. They judged too early a group with the two best dancers on the show, one of the best vocalists ((Samara) If not the best) and Ezrela who is a combination of both. Ua surprised me a lot, as I was worried about her accent, but she's improved so much! Emily simply captivated me with her dancing, Ezrela is so cute and good, Samara with her impeccable vocals, her charisma. SAMARA ATE!
edit: all the teams were great, they served vocals, choreography, but lacked harmony with each other. Lara's vocals are perfect!

I love Celeste’s voice. It’s very unique and bright and unique voices are often more valuable than talented ones in pop bc they are immediately recognizable. And she’s not a bad vocalist she adds a lot of diversity in the sound
I agree! she reminds me of Rose from blackpink, you can tell straight away when you here Rose's voice, while the other girls in BlackPink have more generic voices.

I want to stay down with my girl Manon. But I don’t think this is the route for her. She’s improved a lot, her dancing is great but her facial expressions and presence can feel stiff. Like she’s not letting herself be loose. And compared to the other girls on my list she’s not strong vocally. Gorgeous Gorgeous girl though. She would’ve been THE visual of the group.

I feel that vocal alone can't make it to the international market. You need good vocal, good stage presence, good voice and good visuals to stay relevant. Its a harsh world what can I say.

I agree with most of your opinions although I personally think Lara would be best as a solo artist. She’s extremely talented and unique, and for this reason among others I feel like she wouldn’t work well in a group where you have to share the spotlight. Plus she already said something before like “the studio is my life” so I feel like she’s well on her way to being an artist anyway and doesn’t really need this competition. I’d definitely follow her solo career!
As for Samara, I was intrigued by her ever since the art film introduction video when she sang in Portuguese, and her riffs at the end of the first mission I played back over and over. I really want her in the debut group.
I don’t really have strong opinions on any other members but agree that Emily, UA and Celeste are sadly not good enough singing-wise, although they have cute personalities

The way you would listen to Celeste and then pause killed me every time 😭 I have to agree with you though. Celeste, Emily and Ua's vocals are just not good enough. However, Celeste has strong support from her country and I think HYBE likes Emily so we shall see what happens. I'm glad Manon was able to beat the can't sing allegations. I was surprised she had the most lines, but her tone really fit the song. Overall, my unbiased opinion is that Daniela, Lara, Samara, and Megan did the best this mission. I wonder if HYBE will cut Samara.
My top is Daniela and my hope for debut is her with Sophia, Lara, Samara for sure and for the last 2 members I am okay with Nayoung/Megan/Manon/Ezrela but it now seems like Nayoung wants to be a soloist :( I just think yoonchae is not as strong as Nayoung and is pretty young but I know they will choose at least one korean member …..

Ua has a strong accent when she sings in english but I feel like she's pretty good but also Emily is actually good. You're only factoring singing and dancing but Charisma plays into the performance. Also Emily is a pretty good vocalist to say that's not her strong suit. Her voice isn't for everyone but this is a Global Girl group audition not solely K-pop, standards are different, so I think having a voice like Emily's would be good cause it's give them an interesting range. But besides that Daniela and Lara I would love if they were able to make it and debut together. Lara isn't a strong dancer but the fact she puts effort in and gives it to us is amazing and her vocals are absolutely killer.

Yoonchae pleasantly surprised me with her vocals. And I’m sorry But Megan is my girl. And she just meshes so well with the rest. But Manon was also great, speaking of.
Daniela and Manon were definitely leading the Button performance tho, and whoever decided NOT to film Nayoung during her high note-… Ricky-… Ricky when I catch you Ricky, Ricky when I catch you- (jk).
I actually think this was Ezrela’s best performance but everyone has their own opinion it’s ok. And the 3 you said are up for elimination-… idk I feel as though Celeste has a lot of fans but idk if that’s gonna save her unless she’s in the top 2. It’s up to the judges if she’s not. Her skills are genuinely good but do they complement the other members (who let’s be honest are at least 70% sure they’re gonna debut? Idk 🤷♀️.
I agree that Sophia’s vocals may not be too unique but they are stable, which is needed. She also has the BIGGEST fandom of the entire competition and EVERY contestant songs her in their group. She’s basically already been appointed leader 😂 so I think she’s set to debut.
All the girls have vastly improved over the course of the past 3 performances but my top 6:

5.Samara (listen if Lara and Ezrela can forgive her and work with her our opinions don’t matter and Hybe/Geffen have basically said nothing in regards to the situation. However if you are a part of the culture she offended then you don’t have to forgive her and your opinion is valid. And I’m sorry you were disappointed by her. But we’ve seen how it’s being delt with so whatever you choose to do we support you.)

My picks: Main Vocalist: Sophia/Lara, Lead Vocalist: Samara, Main Dancer: Emily, Lead Dancer: Daniela/Megan, Visual: Ezrela, All-Arounder: Marquis. Sophia and Lara give me the same vibe as they are so similar skill wise which is why i think having both would be redundant, same with Megan and Daniela. I think Ezrela has that it factor, she would be the gel to the group making sure they get along, and i think she is a very solid dancer and vocalist, plus she has great facial expressions. I think a younger person like Marquis would be perfect for the team, she has a very beautiful tone and is stable with it, she can dance well enough, plus she has the look of an idol.

I think the one who stands out the most is Daniela, she dances and sings very well. Always with good facial expressions, interacting with whoever is watching. Then Lara and Samara, by voice, Lara being stronger and Samara being softer. Those are the ones I can see that stand out.
Celeste has a unique voice, but maybe that's not a good thing.
Nayoong sings well, but I don't see much charisma.
Yoonchae has more charisma and good expressions.
Emily and UA dance very well, but I don't think they're just good when it comes to singing.
Marquise, I don't know.
Manon has no expressions, doesn't dance that well and sings little. I don't see anything impressive.
Totally agreed with your analysis. Daniela, Lara and Samara standout amongst the group. These 3 keep grabbing my attention. Rest are good but doesn’t stand out. But have to say that Manon is very attractive.
