It’s crazy because everyone knew she was alive. We were just waiting for confirmation.
She is an exo after all they have to store their minds somewhere before the transfer from living to exo can be complete. The 2 options I see here are there’s a secondary smaller crypt hidden deeper in Europa or house salvation stored her mind somewhere else knowing the guardians would enter the crypt to stop her. Makes sense tbh with how her boss works. We only can kill certain clones that her mind was currently using. And after we kill that replicate she moves on to another. After her “death” instead of picking a new clone she was forced back into this secondary crypt
@@adamboy0559there doesn't need to be a 2nd crypt. We only entered the actual crypt in the 1st encounter and they did mention possible raid lairs at some point
@@cathef117 the second and third are also the crypt. The first is the security system to keep people out as Clovises practices weren’t ethical. The second is where exos are actually made. The morning star is used as part of the process but also a way for Clovis to destroy the crypt and Europa if someone was to find out what he was doing there. During third encounter we destroy the crypt but save eurpoa. Any remains of the crypt now are scavenged or destroyed
It’s funny because everyone who salvations grip wall clipped could see the real atrax chilling outside of the arena

@@timcanavan old bug back when dsc first came out. If you glitched out the map you’d see a captain in a box called “Atraks-1, fallen exo” but it was just a regular captain model that stored her true hp bar. Its still there just been moved to I believe an unreachable spot
The big servitor on the Europa map reminds me of Cold Storage with the monitor in the ceiling that would watch the player move around.

The wildcard part is I believe what Atraks was referred before her exo transfer. She was a young eliksni who devoted herself to eramises propaganda. She was the first and last exo to ever be made of her kind.

@@79bigcat true but very likely the last. The deep stone crypt and morning star have Been destroyed and any remains of it likely ravaged complety. Tho if it’s true Atraks mind is still saved somewhere there could be a potential second crypt possibly smaller and complety unknown. If this is the case there is potential for new exos to rise
@@adamboy0559 While it was the primary facility, and Clovis was enough of a control freak, I doubt it was the only Exo factory on Europa. Perhaps there could have been others experimenting with predecessors to "alkahest" that House Salvation could take advantage of. That place has Vex goo, they have darkness energy, and maybe some SIVA...
@@79bigcat it is possible especially with bungie even saying now her mind is stored somewhere. Atraks has been personally one of my favourite bosses in d2 so her return would be amazing imo. Since Eramis has moved on from vengeance tho what would be her new purpose. She became an exo to aid house salvation in destroying the traveler but now with that goal gone she has none. Hopefully they do go back to Europa and explore this potential secondary crypt more. I’d even take a dsc themed dungeon
@adamboy0559 According to seraph, clovis's goal is to replace the traveler. Couple that with an orator who is reborn as a machine with most of her memories erased/edited. Now you have a budding machine-god to fill the power vacuum Eramis left behind for after final shape.
Destiny need a TV series.

I always thought a Destiny tv series should be somewhat similar to Stargate SG-1. Have a team of Guardians going on various missions.

Would need a constant, thought out story rather than this "make it up up as we go/oh that's been retconned" approach.
I think the show should animate stories like twilight gap for example
Talking about lubricant in relation to Atraks really isn't helping stop the people simping for her, it's an... interesting choice.
The Rahool change is great for me as a new player ( also solo ) to get exotics so I am hyped for that change :)

Im glad that we are getting that Neomuna map. I feel like Destiny is missing the more urban environment type maps in PvP. Those were my favorite types of maps in D1 (i.e., Last Exit, Asylum, etc.)
As much as I don't believe the Wildcard thing is a sign, a part of me wants to believe that it can't be just a coincidence, they wouldn't use that word specifically if it didn't mean anything.
Alas, I am going to remain realistic
I known of Golgoroth and Planets encounter, but Caretaker and Atraks I haven't done. Never did much raiding.
She lives again
It seems like atraks is being used as a possible villain bungie can pull if they need one. She could clone herself so who’s to say we killed the real one it could’ve been a clone or she has a backup of her mind somewhere and is in a new body.
Eramis to our knowledge is still alive so heck maybe episode 1 or 2 we see her and atrax trying to make plans after the witness left and we try to convince them to stop fighting
Eramis has gave up fighting for now. Atraks is full of hatred for guardians tho. She was brainwashed by Eramises propaganda and hatred towards what they called the great machine. I see Atraks returning for either a raid or a dungeon. It won’t be her at her full strength again tho.
Eramis has begun to leave Sol that she can see her wife and kids again on Riis. One of the maps is Eramis at Europa to refuel her ship.
Atrax never died the whole point of her fight was ejecting her nanites into space
They clones were never her. Her goal was to confuse her enemies aka us by switching her conscience between clones. After we killed all those clones I assume her conscience went to a secondary crypt deeper into Europa or the fallen made there own one before her death using the original as an influence. Either way after we “killed” her she transferred her conscience hear where I assume there was a backup plan for Eramis to make her a new body but as we know she was trapped for a while

Wish we got more Exo Fallen. They turn into mini bosses that spawn in fallen strikes at random

If Atrax-1 indeed would be alive, she could easily become a pawn of Clovis in the future. Or if they they want to be real interesting introduce SIVA again: Atrax-PERFECTED anyone?

Thank you for the commentary and review.....this however means absolutely NOTHING unless cross-play lag, rubber banding and the outright cheating that still plagues the game. I truly hope that the experience will be as intended, not as is.

Bt if we killed golgoroth in taken king then how does bungie get away with saying we must defeat him again then how’s tht work? I see strikes n raid as if after we do it the first time then repeating is just nothing bt for game sake n nothing to do with the story. Thts y I won’t play taken king raid again bc bt game definition we killed him on our first kill of playin n defeating. Bungie can’t do tht to the lore n try n make it as he’s still alive. Now I gotta go bck n see wat else u said tht bungie is messing up

My brother, Crucible has been all simulations for a very long time now. We're not actually shooting at other Guardians, we're basically playing VR sims now. Been that way for quite a while. This can be the exact same thing.
@@rookiedrifter4273crucible maps are simulations but the actual things we do aren't. Crucible matches are very much real just not all the area's they take place are. Like the maps that take place on mercury are simulations while matches taken on earth are most likely real.
Basically anything that doesn't fit in cannon but still exist are just very strong simulations to test the guardians against past threat's.
