These terms come from back in the day when bands would release singles, EP's, and LP's. It's not as common anymore since it's so easy just to release something to iTunes so easily, but I'm stuck in my old ways, ha.

Unless I'm really losing it, that is not an F. An E is not and cannot be in the F chord. I think that It is an FMaj7 (7th, non flatted)
