- In this episode, my buddy Dustin ditches a 3” exhaust setup that had cats and muffler and went full send on a Fabworx 4” straight pipe exhaust with 5” titanium tips and catless!

@@jonathanbutler7853 with the straight pipe do the car still need to be tuned without changing the headers? Do you guys have stock headers or aftermarket ?
Wow! What a sound.
I bought same exhaust with straight tips! fitment is amazing, it look good, including the titanium tips, I'm still running OEM downpipes. and theres almost no drone maybe that's why, but can't hear turbos of course :) because of OEM downpipes, the OEM exhaust is easy to take out. only thing is nuts on downpipes can be pretty stuck but heat and pb blaster will take them off.

i currently have catless downpipes and catless midpipe with the stock catback, feel like it's still not loud enough and i wanna hear those turbos more
You can definitely hear the turbos with the straight pipe setup, but it may be too loud for most people.
@@jonathanbutler7853 what I want to know is since I already have catless downpipes and a midpipe is switching out the exhaust to straight pipe gonna be that much of a difference
@@x305HuStLa I’m not sure of that. When my buddy got his gtr, it already had catless downpipes and cats in the mid pipe and then a 3” Catback. I don’t recall hearing much turbo sounds with that setup, but it was still pretty loud. Now with the 4” straight pipe, the turbo sound outside of the car is ridiculous and you can hear it pretty decent in the interior.

Haha small world! The gtr is down right now. Getting built motor, big turbos, trans, etc. when she gets back running, it’s gonna be a handful!
Did it need a tune? I heard they go in limp mode if not tuned for a new exhaust.
If you currently have cats on the car and it’s not tuned to turn the o2 sensors off, then yes you will have a CEL. This car already had the sensors turned off prior. The cats that were on it was post o2 sensors to try to help out with drone.

Not sure on the downpipes other than it is catless. Also not sure if this has the slash cut tip option. I will ask my buddy and see what he says
In this video it had 3" XS Power downpipes, they sounded fine and worked fine but fitment wasn't the best.
