Vapourwave I think, is a musical embodiment of what the present would be like if the 80's visions of the future were true. Instead when we listen, we travel to a crevice in time that leads nowhere and sit there melancholy that time cannot pass in that version of reality, as it could never realistically occur.

This song gives me melancholic nostalgia of my years in College (High School) to a point where the anguish makes my throat choke up and makes my heart sink like an anchor but also makes me glad I was lucky enough to experience those times while I had the chance. I hate ephemerality for stealing those moments from me, but realise that ironically I would not have had them in the first place had it not been for her grace.

This makes me think of fireworks at a local beach on 4th of July (once you see these ones though, you would understand)...where I live, the beach stretches for MILES. You can see people launching fireworks with families and bonfires from where you're standing to as far as the eye can see (no lie)...not even "town fireworks"...it makes planned fireworks seem so lame after that...instead it IS freedom...SO many people that the police can't even stop it, they can only patrol and make sure nothing gets out of hand. It is absolutely beautiful and surprisingly not everyone from here even knows about it, it's like a word-of-mouth event...I ask people "you going to the Town Neck for the fireworks?" and they say "I havent seen them there, do people shoot fireworks" I just say "you have no idea what you're missing, you HAVE to go".
The people that I'm friends with who never saw them....once I showed them, EVERY YEAR after they had to go with or without me. WELL this song makes me think of those A LOT. Which is kinda sad at the same time, because I know I can't see them forever, but what this song does it make me appreciate the moment, and the life I have NOW while I have it. I just picture everyone I loved (family, friends and even pets) all at that spot, where nothing else matters but appreciating Life (then it's back to the daily routine which blends days together TOO much to the point nothing feels memorable unless you do something crazy).

this gives music gives a story of its own, like imagine being in some kind of expedition ship in space, going to an earth like oceanic planet thats never been seen before, and this plays when traveling there, with its beautiful bright blue color, not knowing what you may encounter, wither being another race, or some kind of planetary event, but yet it feels welcoming and calm, an unknown but beautiful travel among the stars.
I'm getting very strong Tycho vibes from this. Fantastic stuff!

I first heard this song while sitting in front of a Japanese style place in Nanjing, South China. I had just pulled out a cigarette when the tune came on and it matched the empty atmosphere of usually bustling city. It felt right.

I grew in an old industrial city. Lots of abandoned factories. Driving by them at night they looked so creepy and desolate with the mercury vapor lamps eerily glowing around them. For some reason these music reminds me of that feeling, like there's something otherworldly about it. Something hidden with, a portal or a tunnel to another dimension. A more advanced consciousness and sense of awareness.
everytime I listen, I feel so disconnected from everything. it allows me to escape my hell's and go to a place where I'm the king and my mind reigns supreme over the world. the climax hits and I see myself- possibilities of my future and of my past... the things I could've done differently. then the track ends.
There was this dream I had; it happened a week after I first listened to this song.
I was walking down an empty train track, with the sun setting in the horizon. The sky was a mix of red, pink, purple, yellow and orange. It was the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen- in my dreams, at least. Then as if on queue, this song played in my mind.
