It really is frustrating, especially with the prices of these figures remaining so high before they hit retail and then the retail distribution being so bad. You’re almost forced to pay a premium so you don’t miss out and hope you don’t get screwed by the legs. Great vid, keep asking them tough questions 🔥💪🏻

The leg situation is really irritating. Also not a fan of the new feet mould, don’t really need the feet to swivel 360 degrees, it’s just not realistic. Mattel should stop fixing things that aren’t broken, and work towards making the torsos interchangeable like the AEW figures have been since day one.
This video is a prime example why MDT is the best figure reviewer in the game.

I’m getting sick of figures that can’t stand properly legs to stiff or soft and some of these horrible head sculpts
the stiff knee and hip ball joints are insanely bad. the 2 tone colours are also ridiculous.
They put pinless in because we all complained that the "old" figures got/were too loose we all wanted pinless cause it looked sick in other figures and presented more realism or a seamless product. I like the tighter figures for display purpises, and durability reasons
Issues I’ve seen lately consistently. With elites real loose Ab crunch. Ultimates, loose heads (bobbleheads)
This is exactly why I wanted the Nitro Stage to not fund. It had nothing to do with not wanting/liking the stage. Had it funded, do you think these QC problems wouldn't be happening?!?!?
Mattel would have just pocketed the profits and all these QC issues would still exist. People need to speak with their wallet. ✌🏻
I have the same issue with the jeans on my UE Eric Bischoff. It's so hard to pose because his jeans have very, very little give to them!

So glad you’re bringing this up … I’m actually done with Mattel … almost every figure I’ve got this year has been awful in hand .. elites don’t move right anymore and ue scale is way way off ! Been collecting since day 1
I just can’t in good conscience buy these anymore. Talking about them won’t do anything. We need to stop buying them until the issue has been addressed. That’s when they’ll know they need to fix it.
Anybody telling people "Oh just take off this and shave this down then replace this" I appreciate it but we shouldn't have to do figure surgery unless we want to
WWE figures are now approaching neca territory. Great look with awful QC and articulation worries. Having found TMNT Rhodes it broke my heart to return him due to being worried that I'm about to rip joints off just because I want to change a pose

Ngl dude it's really a Vietnam thing across the board they have the worst QC issues for any license that goes through them ask any who collects sh figuarts they'll tell you the same
I think the real problem will be is the paint apps, if the quality of paint apps continues to diminish, then i no longer see the reason to invest in mattel products. The figures IMO are the best they've been (series one to present) the plastic being harder im ok with just as long as it doesnt feel cheap or is less durable

Problem for me with mattel action figures these days is the fact they all besides the basic figures is that they have too many interchangeable parts.
My Eltite 111 Cody Rhodes that arrived today actually hasn't this kick forward issue. It moves very well.
I think that the pinless legs are weird like on the recent Pete Dunne figure the legs look weird and flat, but the pinned legs didn't look weird and flat and look like normal legs.
SH Figuarts have the same problem with the China vs Vietnam factories. The products coming out of vietnam would have worse and lose articulation in a line thats intended to be highly articulated.
I got both versions of E110 Butch, they BOTH had the ball joint problem on OPPOSITE legs. Pisses me tf off bc I love Dunne but they barely usable. Don’t get me started on my copy of the aforementioned E111 Cody. Astonished my E112 McDonagh seems pretty good.

I don't like the Cody elite torso at all. I swapped one of mine to a Grayson Waller torso and painted it to color match and it looks so much better imo

Yeah they are toys but def not $20 I live in Canada and pay $17 for basics, $35 for elites, & $45 for ultimates... I feel like they made alot of changes to snub the adult collectors and remind them these are toys meant for kids. Making them more accessible as whole, switch the factory to vietnam (probably to save money) changing the materials also to probably save money, and the paint apps quality has changed also probably to save money these "shortcuts" can allow yhem to pump out more to the masses ultimately to make more money, they released the from the vault series, diminishing the value of the OG released "grail" figures allowing EVERYONE to have access to the figures they missed out on this has an affect on the oldschool collectors and since this has happened i noticed alot of oldschool collectors selling their collections.
Mattel doesn't make money off the 2ndary market so "pissing off" old collectors and acting petty is worth it to mattel because they know parents and kids will buy more making it more worth it in the end profit wise...it sucks but mattels a business they are here to make money, not do favors for adult collectors making more money of their product in the 2ndary market.....make sense?
