- Trinity ghoul’s catalyst is game changing. Trinity ghoul is an arc bow and it can create chain lightning after precision kills. This chain lightning is OP, being able to wipe out dozens of enemies in a single shot. That’s good but you have to continuously get precision kills to keep the chain lightning and it can be a little inconsistent since the lightning doesn’t activate itself. However, with its catalyst, all kills with arc damage will give you lightning rod. This means all kills with Trinity ghoul, including its lightning, will give you the chain lightning buff. It also triggers off arc abilities so you can essentially have chain lightning at all times. This makes it the BEST and easiest to use ad clear weapon in the game.

@kaimarvin1396 Well both those just do their job, no need to get a kill chain started for the full effect. So they definitely have the edge there. Trinity is held back by requiring a kill with either the bow or an arc ability to get the Chain Arrows.
New players would benefit greatly from knowing about this bow. Not everyone has been playing Destiny for the last 7 years....
He’ll remake this video in about a year an a half just to make sure we still remember.

Honestly it's wierd how few people use this bow. I grinded onslaught hard last season and I only saw one other person using trinity ghoul. I saw plenty of sunshot and graviton lance users but only 1 trinity ghoul user besides myself. It's an ad clear monster and it makes orbs for days you can turn like 40% of your kills into orbs with this bow but it feels like it's really slept on

the new raid legendary bow rolls with voltshot, which basically makes it trinity ghoul without catalyst except it triggers on any kill. Oh and you can get another perk to go with it
This is literally the best catalyst in the game in terms of upgrades.

Double strand reserves the call sidearm , with a fusion or snipe and edge transit is the Meta double special and a heavy trust u don’t need trinity ghoul. I have splice vorpal weapon on the sidearm so after dodging my hunter I become radiant and it’s trigger splice kills from the side arm trigger invisible and u keep the loop going in prismatic. Dealer choice weapons are buffed from artifact

It’s not great in harder content. The damage falls off, and gets outclassed by even legendary weapons. Still super fun and amazing in normal play, but once you get to legend it gets a lot worse
