@@HomesteadingNorthernMichigan it's technically still beta until the end of the year but the northern US states and Canada are their primary test zone. I've seen a few other off the grid RUclipsrs getting 150 plus megabits download and 20 to 40 up.

I think around 80 is my best ping... I don't usually pay attention to the bottom left corner of the screen when Im gaming 😂

Moved out to the country and Everyone was telling AT&T was our only option.. Tried it.. was getting speeds around 15 down 10 up.. Went and got me a tmobile prepaid sim card to test and my speeds jumped to 35-40 download and 25- 30 up.. Freakin wild.. Went and switched mine and my two girls phones over to tmobile family plan.. Took the 4th phone and used the Sim in my mofi.. Been going strong for over a year now! Only thing is suppose to be getting starlink at the end of the month and I'm torn.. Only reason I'm wanting to get the starlink is I want to put up cameras on my property but I'm also a heavy online gamer (when I can) Great vid BTW! Keep on keeping on!

So all u did was add the connector? U would think it would slow it down not speed it up. I only have the "upgraded mofi antennas" as of now. Do u think it would help me.
No you need the yagi antennas.. I had a rigged up connection... I got a very weak signal with just the stock antennas
@@HomesteadingNorthernMichigan I understand that I need the antennas but in the video u already had the antennas connected. Tested the speeds then added just the adapter. Then tested again. Correct?
@@nicholaslandis596 I removed the homemade connector I used... You can buy the Yagi antennas with the proper fittings for the mofi... I didn't because I didn't know it would be different... If you get the yagi's with the proper connector you won't need the adapters

what are you using for your sims plan in ur mofi?, I had unlimited AT&T plan, but it got cancelled
Mine is still active.. At&T tablet SIM
They grabbed a Galaxy tablet and changed the last digit to 0 and I guess that's like a test number or something... They knew what I needed it for and how to set it up for me
What do you have for antenna? Where do those cables lead to?
I have the two yagi style antennas... Very cheap maybe $40 for the pair on eBay

@@fastmachines500r8 sma cables... I just ordered some for mine... They were rubbing on the roof
@@fastmachines500r8 they go into the primary and secondary... The wide flat ones... The two skinny antennas are what sends the signal to your devices
