Marinette actually looks better than she did in seasons 1-5. She doesn’t look like paste anymore. Or even creepy anymore. She looks like an actual human!
I'm pretty sure Marinette's new look and Chat Noir's new look, look similar to the show's earliest concepts where Marinette and Adrien were formerly known as Bridgette and Felix.
Marinette's new outfit looks almost identical to her original concept as Bridgette with some differences in:
1. The outfit being pink while Bridgette's was blue.
2. Marinette's blazer having embroidery and being shorter than Bridgette's blazer design
3. Marinette wears a shirt|vest with a bow design on it while Bridgette wears a buttoned shirt.
4. Marinette wears stockings with her shorts while Bridgette didn't wear stockings with her shorts for her design.
Along with a few touches to her hair, Marinette looks almost like Bridgette in her new look but still different.
The same can be said with Chat Noir's new look which does look identical even in facial features to the earliest concepts of Chat Noir where Adrien's character was formerly known as Felix.
As for Adrien, I swear his civilian self and hero self look like he's two different ages.
His civilian self along the lines of his face looks younger like somewhere along the ages of 5 - 9 years old, like when we sae his younger self in the Miraculous Movie.
His hero self does look like a teenager but more bordering 18 years old.
As for Adrien's outfit, I have no idea why in the name of Kwami he's still wearing the same outfit he's worn for the last 5 seasons. I mean he's been on the cover of magazines in different outfits, why not pick any one of those.
I really want to see Adrien have a style that's from his own tastes and not something Gabriel used to pick for him.

About the costume thing. I agree. Ladybug’s design is iconic, but compared to the side characters it’s nothing special. Take Rooster Bald for example. The writer put their all into his design and nailed it, but he’s looks more like a main character than Ladybug, and if you showed a picture of the two of them go to someone who didn’t know miraculous at all, then I’m pretty sure they’d say he’s the main character, because he’s got a more intricate look.

All Mari needs is the gold lining to divide the red and black arrears and having more dimension to the suit like how chat noir has the belts that give something extra to his suit

I actually really like the new ladybug costume. It's got a good balance of black to the red and the spots aren't an eyesore mess anymore. It's much easier to look at. We'll see if they fixed her overall character though. A good design doesn't make a likeable character, personality and development still need to carry the most weight there.
Her new civilian outfit looks good too. I get why they didn't, but I wish they had given her a different hairstyle.
Poor Adrien. That updated design is oof. Why is he so effeminate looking? I've seen princess fashion dolls more masculine than that. They couldn't even be arsed to give him a new outfit. Seriously, did he run over Thomas's cat? I just don't understand writers who hate their own characters like this.
If even you don't want to touch on Plagg, then I don't want to know what they did to him. He was the only character I genuinely liked in the show.

Personaly what annoy me the most about Adrien new design is that he doesn't have a new outfit- they just changed his orange shoes and called it a day
They changed the whole design for Some Spots on ladybugs costume adrien looks 7 like whaaaaaat.......

i personally think otherwise, the shading looks more realistic and the details look so good 👌 im not an mlb fan but i plan on watching s6 just because the animation FINALLY improved, i think the old animation looks so cheap as the lighting looks so bland in earlier seasons (it looks slightly better in s5) and why do the old models move so weird?? 😭
