    I tried this with smaller guage wire . In a pinch I used my nylon wire straighteners to straighten and compress braided section. They worked well for that application. Just an FYI if you too are waiting on your next order of supplies & tools

    I'd love to see more of these. One question, can we vary guage of wire? I believe I have 22 or would that be too fine?

    Could you possibly show us how you would finish this band, into a plain ring band? Is it possible to do it without any soldering?
    Or are you only able to finish it using stones and decorative wrapping?
