I'm contemplating buying this plane off ebay at the moment hense the reason for searching for Apprentice content and your video popped up. I enjoyed the fact that you don't edit out the not so great landings which makes it easier to relate. I hate watching videos that show perfect take offs,landings and flight because we all know that's not what happens in the real world.
@DaveItYourselfChannel I bought it! I've really been enjoying my Turbo Timber Evolution. It's a great plane and resilient to crashes. I've only had to do minor surgery on her once despite several ugly crashes. My carbon cub s2 suffered major damage from similar crashes. Only complaint I have with the Evolution is the landing gear is trash

i also use easylights on my apprentice s 15e but i carved a small area in the end of the wing and cut thin velcro to adhere them to the wing so when they need recharging i can just take them off. I'm going to order some more for my areoscout and my arrows prodigy 1400mm love the channel dave its fun to watch and learn niiiiiiiiiicccccceeeeeee!!!!!!!!
Great channel Dave! Hey when you put together your apprentice sts did you have to add weight to the nose to gain proper center of gravity? Or was it good right out of the box?
Those are the Insta360 GO 2's! Check into those before getting excited about the GO 3's. Same functionality but more protection with the 2's over the 3"s. The 2's will be cheaper now that the 3's are out, so GO 2! Thank you for watching, AND commenting! NIIIIIIIIIIIICE! 😁👍
They are whistle footballs so they provide the death whistle. I put them on my US Navy Aeroscout on drop mechanisms to drop them but on the Apprentice, they were just on there for looks and sound! Thank you for your comment! Merry Christmas! 🎅👍
I have this plane I am struggling and wondering why in the world are you using for a camera that links to your phone that gets the range like the one in this video? Is there anyway you can help me out with this?
Actually, my phone is on my controller as just another camera. The cameras on the plane don't stream to the phone when they are in the air as they are on wifi. However, you can use your phone to see what the camera sees when you're seeing them up. Thanks for watching and commenting. I hope to hear more from you. 😁👍
dave dave dave the sts is the easiest one to land. your coming in too low stay high chop the throttle and coast in and flare at the end if you need to add a bit of throttle you can
there are little push buttons on the side 1st push gets you double flash next push single flash third push on then breathing one more push is off hope that helps

Pretty good out of the box but then again I do use a heavier 3s 3200mah battery. Maybe try that?
