A joint venture between Tesla & Mercedes-Benz, this subcompact hatchback is blessed with excellent versatility and visibility. Being a Mercedes-Benz, it provides you with a finer, more luxurious experience than many other sub-compact EV's. This includes a supple, more controlled ride quality - something few other EV's can match. Power comes from a 177hp, 28.0kWh motor. The 87-mile range easily surpasses the less than 30 miles most people average daily, and 60 miles of range can be restored from a 240V-outlet in just two hours!

It's not a "relatively quick recharge". That's the whole problem with the car--Mercedes made the tragic choice not to include rapid charging, even though the Tesla batteries that power it can support that. It's a pretty good compliance car, but Mercedes doomed it to obscurity (probably intentionally) by leaving out rapid charging.

I love this one, but if you look at cargurus, this car is rated at around 6,000 dollars over budget, you can get similarly or better equipped ones for around 15 or 16 thousand elsewhere, just letting you know. I mean, this is literally the most expensive b250e listed nationwide.
