    I have to say, as someone who married a nekhraya (and I love him very much, no regrets), I can see why it's so important to marry Assyrians. I look at my child and think, if she doesn't marry an Assyrian, after a few generations the line will stop simply because I didn't marry an Assyrian. It's quite sad to think about when we are dwindling so quickly in diaspora. I appreciate this discussion and always look forward to your episodes brother. 🙏🏼✝

    If we go back to our homeland we will be vulnerable unless the man man up and be ready and prepared to die to protect the vulnerable. and also build and be charitable

      Bro assyria would be a land locked shit hole. Unfortunately we need to not be land locked, that or really solidify our boarders and work with neighbours

      that would just be problematic sorry but I dont think we need that in our community just look at the muslim dating apps there becoming problematic themselves

      there is this white aussie boy on tiktok that thinks hes helping assyrians learn the language when hes learning it from his assyrian friend, went to the extent of having the flag in his room I dont think thats ok his first video on tiktok is him saying what languages hes learning making people believe he is of those ethnics and he has assyrian language as one of them he called it his mother tongue, is that when white people like him do there research and become prideful and does he not know what a mother tongue is because I could learn Italian and im not italian ethnically that does mean italian is my mother tongue this culture if im being honest is kind of becoming a joke as in clown show

    Support Kurds and KRG . It is the best for you to survive and live your culture and language

      I honestly prefer Kurds over the Iraqi government. I don't like the Arab mindset. Look at Syria, Egypt and Lebanon, and why they're failing.

      @@scinatit Egypt is North African but connects to a middle eastern county but yeah its really a bad time over there but those people dont deserve to suffer when there politicians advocate for war and violence I now understand why Arabs move out but no offence the Kurds amongst the turks r the last people I would see an assyrian supporting I would think maybe armenians or greeks

    16:22 Of course you had Arab ancestry (not that it's a bad thing), because you always looked pretty Arab for an Assyrian.

      I did my DNA , I’m 95% assyrian of Nineveh region, North iraq. The rest was northern Syriac Syrian !

      @scinatit 6 месяцев назад +3

      @@TheBaBaTV You are full Assyrian. Syriacs are Assyrian. But Emmanuel (the guy in the video) is 50% Jordanian, through his mother. He even looks Jordanian, as I have lived there for years.

    • @TheBaBaTV
      @TheBaBaTV 6 месяцев назад

      @@scinatit yea Syriacs are assyrian too, but the dna is still different, they were conquered by Assyrians long ago and took our language too converting to Assyrians , they are Levantine people ! We have shared dna, but it shows on my dna Assyrians of Nineveh and Syriacs of north Syria are two distinct dna genetics !

      It's sad that someone who is half Jordanian is representing us. His mother is Jordanian. That makes him a full blown Jordanian. We need 100% full Assyrians representing us. And he doesn't even look Assyrian. Gives the wrong image of us.

    • @TheBaBaTV
      @TheBaBaTV 6 месяцев назад

      @@LisaSpringfield honestly as long as half breeds say they are only assyrian, it’s fine. We can’t afford as an ethnicity to be other things we need more Assyrians, we have to be assyrian only and say we’re only assyrian !
