Taco Spaghetti
Hamburger meat
1 block cream cheese
1 pack taco seasoning
1 can Garlic roasted diced tomatoes
Thin spaghetti noodles
Mozzarella cheese
Cook the hamburger meat
Add the cream cheese, taco seasoning, 2 cups water, and tomatoes.
Cook the noodles and add them to the sauce.
Add the mozzarella cheese.
Serve with garlic bread.
I'm with Dan, I've never rinsed meat.
And you are correct .. rinsing meat does not get rid of anything, only cooking does. Even CDC and Dept of Agriculture states the same.
Never, ever rinse meat. I’m an old lady and never heard of such a culinary blasphemy! 😂
And it's not smart to drain that grease down the sink
I heard that it's not good to rinse me because it spreads bacteria throughout your sinks and counters. I believe that actually came from a scientist
If you rinse meat, do it b4 cooking it. But seriously, don't rinse meat. You spread any harmful bacteria around your sink area. Cooking will kill the bacteria in the pan.
Omg I almost spit my coffee out. When Lou said, rinse the meat 😂😂😂 ..
Everytime meat is said Dan reverts back to pre teenage years 😂
Truth be said, that’s most adult men too 😅
So does Lou and I guarantee she whispered some sweet nothings in his ear about it. She loves it!!
@@nancypierce8380, LIKELY THE ONLY RAW MEAT SHE HANDLES IS DAN'S! 😂🤣😂
Lol...Dan having recipe remorse when he told Lu to pick the recipe for this week and she did!!! Trust the process Dan, trust the process!! 😂😂
Unfortunately I have to agree with Dan, no rinsing the meat after draining. Sorry Lou. It looks great and I bet it tastes even better! Wishing yall a blessed weekend!
I never heard of rinsing the meat until I saw it on another cooking show. Most people only do it to wash the meat for a healthier choice. I never do it, but to each’s own! Glad everyone enjoyed it!
I'd give a million bucks to hear what Lou whispered in Dan's ear😂😂
All you had to do was look at the top of Dan's head and how it turned into an🍎 to figure it out... Lol🤪😂
You know what she said wink 😜
i would guess it had something to do with touching "his meat" hehehehehehe
Sweet nothings
We always rinse the extra grease off the meat and out of the pan
Dan, Lou aka "side eyes" put her little hands in an engine to pull a dead snake out for you and Lester. You owe this woman respect! (lol) Happy cooking!
I never realized you've been married for so many years. Congrats🎉 it's good to see Dan learned his lesson about cooking stuff to high 😂
Yes I have
I know Jacob loves tacos so I knew he would love this. OMGOSH the cheese that went into it had me drooling 😊 Thank you both Daniel and Lou for another great meal and video.❤❤
Our pleasure!
Looks gd!! I would have waited on the cheese separately apply it on top . But that's me.
This right here is years of marriage folks. Bickering at it's finest and still being best friends. You two are so much fun to watch. This recipe is one I have to try.
Thank you for understanding us. Some people just don’t get it.
When Daniel said “Your Mama’s loud” to Lou in response to saying the cans banging on the pot were loud. 😂
If you rinse meat, it takes the flavor away. Sounds like a great meal!
♥️🙏♥️
I don't rinse the spaghetti noodles and I use the spaghetti water if I need to thin the spaghetti sauce. This recipe looks really good. I love Mexican Food.
Spaghetti is a pasta. Noodles are different. Have an entirely different flavor!
My husband had skin cancer removed from his back... all because of all the times he sunburnt when he was younger. But hey... to yalls defense... if you aren't used to cooking like that, it takes time to get used to how the burners work, cause they don't always work as the dial says. I bet that is good... I love Cream Cheese! Try chicken breasts, cooked and shredded, add salt, pepper, cream cheese and BBQ sauce... This is something I do in a crock pot a lot. I'm with Dan on this one.. I love black pepper! Oh, I love fried tacos! I love Lou's expressions! I love y'all... I am so glad you two started a channel
So glad y’all taught that pot just who was the boss! I don’t take no crock from my pots neither! 🤭 Getting more awesome each week guys.❤
Thanks
This is my kind of cooking! As easy and simple as possible.
You can never have too much cheese 🧀 ❤
Good morning Daniel & Lou, that was super easy and looks delicious. My children used to love Taco night as well. Cute Lyssa saying the ingredients will be on their shopping list. It was a big 👍 from everyone. ❤&🙏
Yummy meal y’all!! I love that Lou added an extra envelope of taco seasoning to enhance the taco flavor! I think the only thing that would have kicked it up a notch would have been to add some shredded lettuce snd chopped tomatoes in bowls to offer to add to top of the spaghetti like you’d have on tacos , but that’s just something extra not something needed ! Great addition of the garlic bread ! I’m loving y’all’s videos of your vacation , looks like y’all are having a great time, Thsnks for taking us along to enjoy it with y’all !! God bless ❤️🙏🙋🏻
Y'all are the best! Every day I bust out laughing here at work! Makes me want to do a cooking episode with my husband Alan! Lol
Go for it!
Completely enjoy watching your cooking videos !!
Right there with you Dan, never rinse the meat. Jake talks about a Frito pie maybe next time make that.
Love your videos! The banter between you two reminds me so much of my late husband and me. 😂 And I love that your videos don’t focus on how to get more viewers. You’re just having fun. Can’t wait to try this recipe!
Dan's really getting a workout stirring all that cheese!! That looks amazing!
Your cooking videos could be televised! Both of y'all are so funny.
Pro tip: undercook your noodles a little so when you add them to the sauce, they soak up some sauce and they don't turn to mush.
I never had taco spaghetti. It looks delicious and I know it tastes great. Garlic toast is my favorite also Lou , got to have it with spaghetti or any meal. The more garlic the better I like it. You all did excellent and have a happy day.
I agree 100%
Agree with Lou the garlic bread is the best!
Good Morning Daniel & Lou! I love your cooking segments. Thank you for sharing this video with us. 👍🇨🇦😊 Awww...Happy Birthday Jake! 👍🎂🎁🎊🎉😊👏 The banter back & forth is awesome! 👍😂🤣 You have the best subscribers...so kind. I do not rinse meat after it has been cooked. I have never heard of that before. 😳🤷🏻♀️😮😬 We are learning your idiosyncrasies. Too funny about Daniel & the pepper shaker. 🤣😂 I will definitely try this recipe. It looks delicious!
You two cooking together remind me of my husband and I when we were in the kitchen together we could not agree and he start saying yes dear yes dear I miss my hubby of 43 years but I enjoy watching you guys
Taco spaghetti is so good GREAT pick Lou . Dan I 100% agree don't rinse the meat. Great couple happy you share your special recipes and time with us. Love from Ohio ❤
What you both got as gifts are very precious!❤❤❤❤
Happy Blessed 🙏 💖 Thursday morning, Dan and Lou. The food looked yummy 😋 ! ❤😊
LOL We lived on Mac-N-Cheese and fish sticks. I hated tacos and pizza when I was young. I can't live without those now. LOL This recipe is easy, and it looks delicious.
It is
I love 🌮 and spaghetti 🍝 I just never thought you could mix the two I'm excited about this❤ definitely making this one....... THANKS
Hope you enjoy
I need to be part of the Dan and Lou crew. Lol. Everything you have made looks delicious. 😋
Looks yummy, I would try with cheddar cheese(like on tacos) and some hot sauce! Well done you two! :)
I use Rotel tomatoes n add Mex cheese mix then top with fresh diced tomatoes, lettuce, sharp cheddar n sour cream
I love the idea of pouring into a casserole dish and finishing in the oven. Get slightly browned on top and easier to serve. Cut into serving sizes.
I love these! (Wondering if maybe the titles could include the recipe name?) I search back through them when I want to try one and maybe others do too? For example: Cooking with Dan and Lou #15 - Taco Spaghetti
Agreeed!
You two are awesome. Just when I think that Daniel has the upper hand here ,Lou jumps in and shows her strength.
I can relate because my husband and I have been married 31 years...... We would probably look just like you guys in the kitchen trying to cook together.
Dooont rinse meat 😂😂😂
You two are so comical together I just love watching you and Lou it makes me smile so happy to watch a Christian family enjoy life to the fullest love all the marrows . I watch each and everyone one just wish Lester you join in some with you and lou
I look forward every week for your cooking show ! You two are so fun to watch, reminds me of my husband and myself trying to cook together. I’ve trying several of the recipes delicious! My favorite was the chicken cobbler, my husbands was the boudin stuffed shrimp.
Y’all should try stuffed bell pepper soup. I think y’all would all love it. Can’t wait for next week !
Chicken cobbler sounds fire!! So does taco spaghetti 🍝
LMAO at Dan's "oh yeah, oh yeah." Hope the neighbors don't hear you...😂😂
😂 😂
I'm with you, Lu...I always rinse the ground beef! So much fat is extracted from the meal that way. And if you're adding flavors like taco mix, chili mix, spaghetti sauce, etc., they cover the taste of the beef anyway.
Cooking the pasta in the meal will add flavor to the pasta but your way will be just fine also. Looks delicious
I love taco spaghetti and now I'm craving it watching you guys eat it. It's good with a can of Rotel tomatoes too...
If you cool noodles off it stops them from cooking, you can then put them into warm water or add them to meat sauce. Use to work for Pizza Hut and we would prep them by cooking rinsing in cold water weigh then bag it. Add to hot water to re heat and serve. You can actually prep your noodles way ahead and then heat at meal time. This also removed extra starch from them. ❤ Your cooking shows!
I wash all ingredients before (BEFORE) cooking. I would never use meat right out of the store wrap without washing it. FYI. I loved seeing Lou taking the spotlight. Woman power!
An excellent staple meal that can be made quickly for busy homemakers. It's a step up from plain Spaghetti. Thank you, Dan and Lou.
Thanks Dan and Lou, For such great meal for everyone it looks like it's a hit👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸😀😀😀😀💖💖💖💖💖
You don't rince meat off after it's cooked! That looks absolutely deliscious, good job guys!
I'm with Dan on this Lou, I've never heard of meat being rinsed and have never rinsed meat. My son is a cook, and he says you don't rinse the meat when I asked him.
You guys are so much fun to watch love watching your cooking show
I think this was a great family meal, not much cooking steps, and easier cleanup.👍👍
You guys are hysterical. That’s all there is to it!🤠💕
😂 I guess that’s a good thing.
Very good.
Next year someone ask Jake what he wants for his birthday dinner. He cried about that last year. Lol. Gotta love him
Always enjoy the Dan n Lou show!!! Looks great! 🌻🌻🌻
Stop it Dan, Lou is always right lol, trust her and the process. We love Lou's kitchen 😊
Prayers for Daniel's spots removed from his head.
Taco spaghetti. I have never tried.
Lou, loved your humbleness.
Dan & Lou, we love ❤️ your cooking episodes. Most of all hearing the family and their ratings. How fun!
I never heard of using cream cheese, let along, in with the meat. Interesting concept
Yay success! So glad you cooked on Medium not High! 😁 I’m going to try this one, looked yummy! 💕
You all are so funny how you compete with each other. But you can see the family love.
I'm from Georgia and we had family in Grapevine, Tx. When I was a kid and we'd visit them, they always took us to Pancho's. I loved it! We went to one a few years ago and I don't remember it being so "fast foody". It seems more like a Taco Bell now. I thought they were more sit down style, with nice tables and chairs and waitresses running around filling drinks and watching for the raised flags.
I wore my wheels off my shopping cart looking for a can of diced garlic???🤭. I love the banter back-and-forth between you two! Love all your recipes- look forward to them. Be blessed and enjoy each other❤
Great choice Lou!!! This one i'll definitely make for my grandkids..You cant go wrong with taco anything 😋
What I’ve been cooking forever as I’m 81 and have never heard of rinsing ground meat after draining, love you guys your videos are so entertaining ❤
Same for me and I never heard if rinsing cooked meat. Seems washing flavor down the drain. I'm 3 months shy of 81. Been cooking since I was around ten.
Norma here. That looks like a wonderful, tasty, quick and easy meal to prepare.
I’m with you Dan. I have never rinsed chop meat (hamburger meat) ever, but I’ve also never drained the grease the way you did. The way I do it is so much harder. Thanks for showing me a much easier way. However, Lou did state right from the beginning that one of the ingredients was GARLIC roasted tomato sauce.
Great video and everyone seemed to enjoy it. Boy, your family is so lucky having a delicious meal to look forward to once a week prepared by you and Lou.
Doesn’t Gigi like taco seasoning? She didn’t seem to have a plate. I wish Lou would have shown or told us how she made her garlic bread.
I think Gigi mentioned recently she can’t eat spicy foods. And her garlic bread may have been the frozen kind.
YOU NEVER RINSE MEAT!!! ASK ANY CHEF DAN'S RIGHT.
We always fried our flour tortillas too. Not many people do, but they are so good that way.
I am getting ready to go weed eat but l had to watch cooking with Dan and Lou it always makes me have a fun day 😅❤
Another big hit with this one Dan and Lou!!!! Really enjoying your cooking video , you’ve taken the guess work out of “What to make for dinner”!!! Many blessing to you and yours 💜💜💜💜
"I've never rinsed meat in my life, and ain't starting today" ... - Sorry Lou, I'm with Dan on this one... 🥰
thank you dan for not rinsing the meat.....everyone does it the way they do but thank you for not lolol looked delish enjoy the cooking together stuff🍝
PUT IT IN THE PAN! LMAO, had to go all caps on this one!
Brown the meat in the cast iron skillet, drain and blot the meat with paper towels.
Panchos!!!! Yes!!!! We had one in El Paso, TX when I was a young kid! Loved the sopapillas!!
🤠❤🌵🐟LOL thanks again for the giggles and sharin` have a blessed one
Good to see Dan using that wooden slotted spoon! Good boy Dan!!
Thanks 👍
Lou, your shirt is adorable.
I think I’m going to make taco spaghetti this weekend for my family - they love tacos and spaghetti so perfect mix! Thanks for the new idea!
Hope you enjoy
Lou, that color blue looks amazing on you!❤
It looks good. I made taco meatloaf once and it was good. Have a wonderful day from South Texas 🎉
you two are such a beautiful couple and i laugh and laugh when i watch your videos, ya all are funny as heck. again, i love the style i bet Lou picked out for your house, its beautiful!
Looked great and I'm so glad you figured out what those Dials are for on your Stove !,LOL
You and me both!
You 2 r so funny cooking together. I have to laugh. Keep upthe cooking
A little tip ,always have your skillet warm before you add the meat ,it won’t stick so bad ! You guys are hilarious!😂😂😂
And after your done cooking, don't just turn the power off to avoid burning it. That eye stays hot for 5 more minutes, not to mention the covered pot adds heat! Take it off the stove eye completely to avoid burning the bottom.
Another amazing recipe, thank you Dan and Lou for sharing it. 💕 from Perth, Australia 🇦🇺
HE can't help himself, can he?😂
Nope 😂 😂
That looks good! I’m all about pasta dishes and combine it with Mexican…yum! Now I’m hungry!
Not burnt, a big win! 💖💖💖
“You better not be side eyeing me now!” Ha,ha,ha!😂
Boy Lou Lou was definitely in charge today 😂
Thanks for another great food video.
I love spagetti and tacos, so this is a recipe I'll be trying soon.
Looked so good, I made it for supper. Used a can of Rotel tomatoes along with regular diced and fresh garlic. Came out great.
You can NEVER have too much cheese!!😀😀
There's just something about u too in the kitchen, it gets me laughing every time, looks delicious! ❤😂
Dan honey I'm going to keep you in prayer, cause you are such a very special person on your show!❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
I love each and every recipe you share Dan and Lou!❤
