That car you didn't know about was a Metro 6R4. It was mostly used as a rally car. That one also appears to be a rally spec one having some fun on track.

Tim was following him easily and at the same time he was talking with us. Judging by how the Ferrari driver was taking corners he was pretty much on his limits. It was also clear that the Ferrari driver wasn't that great of a driver.

It's amazing the line up of cars Tim was passing and or following with ease. The guy in the Pista was trying hard, and admittedly didn't have great technique, *however* Tim still showed no signs of being able to get past him easily...in fact the Pista was pulling away at points...if the GT's truly that good, it should have been toying with the Pista like a cat with a ball!

The pista is such an understated track car considering the discrete aero and the absence of a massive wing. The bs tho, it definitely can do times that challenge gt3 cars on certain tracks

GT Black Series just slaps like crazy around the track compared to the Ford GT!! I love both cars but the Black Series is just such a proper track weapon. Has very good traction and is planted so well even when the tires are cold.
i would never believe that a GT black Series is just a touch slower than a Vulcan. The GT BS is together with the Senna and the GT3 RS the ultimate Track weapon
Love seeing that Mach1 behind you while you were talking about the GT and the Black series. Senna's car was powered by a Ford V8 when he made history there.
wow Black series is so planted, you can see Pista's weight shift and body roll but that AMG is so impressive, no wonder why its king of the ring.....no no no Manthey dont count lol

It's actually to cool the turbo so they don't melt the paint on the hood being a hot v style set up I worked for them and went through the mb drive program when they started hot v the placement of the radiator doesn't effect cooling efficiency they just needed a factory turbo timer
The black series is just a different animal, will it see any more tweaking and upgrades possi ly from opus? (speaker noise must go) The gt track series you recently drove sounded even more race car and would be interesting to see if any of the suspension and aero that it runs could find its way on to the black series. The car seems to have the breaks to cope with more power or at least the speeds that more power brings and as you said it was easily capable of monstering some of the other cars.
Great video Tim! I prefer v12 Nat asp cars, but yours are amazing!!! I would love to see you slide with the gtc4 lusso around any track, bursting a set of tiers after another. Keep up!!!

The AMOUNT of cornering speed it can carry through the corners compared to the Pista 488, is phenomenal!!! That Aero does its job!

This is why this is one of the best car channels, we get to see these cars used on the track. Can't be cold starts and tunnel runs all the time.

Have you considered getting some tire warmers for your track days so you don't have to wait to get heat into the tires?
