I rented an AirBNB once for adult children and their 4 kids. The fridge and cabinets were full of liquor! Too bad the 2 adults were recovering alcoholics!
All depends I’m not against hotels but when there is 4 people staying for a week like we did in Philly last year a hotel room does get a little cramped. Could have spent more for a suite. Like a couple grand more lol
You missed the point. An airbnb you get the whole house at the same price staying at a hotel would be. I would choose an airbnb everything. Plus what housekeeping? Putting your dirty dishes in the dishwasher and placing dirty towels in a basket. You call that housekeeping ? Plus you don't change the bedding You just leave the beds unmade.
@@johnj9662 we do not expect the renter to make the beds. We do strip the bedding all The way down and put clean back on. Just showing that some renters say only 2 guests but do bring in more guest which equals more work that wasn’t not counted on. I get it it’s away for the renter to lower their cost. But costs the host in time
I have seen where people have said it is just 1 person coming to get the lower price and the reality is there is a total of 6 people which just cost the host . Just be truthful people.
house behind me bacame airbnb and seen some really drunk & pot heads (skunk smell) people rent it. They put the grill right up to the house while the other person puts a gallon of gas on the fire pit. Kinda concerning. Then some other ones let their kids go outside and beat up some swans. Yelling a screaming all hours of the night. I found out that some really low lifes rent these houses to do bad things that they would never ever do at home, probably.
Unfortunately this does happen if you don’t look into them. Reviews are left so the key is catch those types before and deny them before that even happens. But thanks so much for the info. Knowledge is power if applied.
If you don't want to clean, clean, clean and change beds, don't own an Airbnb!
I think the host here loves everything that comes with being an airbnb owner. Plus if they didn't want to clean you can always hire a cleaning person.

We have found a case of beer and some specialty cocktails before. You just never know what people will leave.
Yes all beds get stripped and washed if you can tell I’m carrying all new linens in.
I have stayed at this airbnb. It is absolutely beautiful. So clean . I will differently stay again. Wonderful host.

The beds should not be made by the renter. You should be tearing those beds down to wash and change the bedding!

Yes I strip all the bedding off after every stay.
