Half of south east SD and lemon grove has rivers running through it. I saw so many homes flooded. Poor people. I was working Uber and that down pour must’ve lasted 3 hours. I saw a creek that I was about to drive though raise 5 ft if water within seconds. Scared the sh*t out of me.
where was this creek?
It was quite bad. Have you seen the area in Home Avenue just under the bridge?? Massive puddle of water that came down from the 805 freeway flooding the street underneath from Home Ave to Gateway 😳
I'm disappointed you guys weren't in Fashion Valley! You broke a long tradition.
i am from southeast san diego and me and my friend just said that it has never flooded over there cause it is usually mission valley and fashion valley

Beautiful beautiful let it rain 🌧️
areas of North Park are a total mess right now with the storm drains over flowing.
Why is there a woman in the river bed during a rain storm?
We have a massive homeless population growing in the Santee river bottoms. They usually light fires all year.
First quakes, now flash floods.
Hows Escondido?

The animals at the Zoo needed a shower, so there is a silver lining.

Whew! As long as they can still smack a ball around with a stick, all is well for San Diego!
its called the San Diego Stormer
So, was the problem due to natural waterways overflowing their banks, or the ground/soil could not absorb the rain as fast as it came down?
Both really. We've been getting more "rain events" in the last few years and we're not prepared.
