You never know as a kid where your gone be at until you get there. Sometimes its to late. Decisions have consequences and sometimes gppd decisions have bad results. I grew up in a tough area but stayed out of the mix. Knew all the players, just didnt do business. Kept it real,no issues, no biases all respect. What i gave i got back. That being said there are times just through association things go sideways. When things get violent and volatile you dont know. Shit happens 5 seconds can change your life. Surroundings pull you in. A good strong man pushes you away. I was more scared of my dad then the gangster down the street. Another thing is era. I am 62 so in my time people respected your decision. Easy to go bad though. Good luck man you still got your mind.

Telling his story, can’t even feel sorry for him. No excuses! It’s clear that he’s hurt and caused trauma to so many innocent people he encountered for his own selfish gains. He was robbing/assaulting people in the community daily. Imagine poor women and men going about their day and dude robbed them, beat them up, broke into their cars/homes/businesses etc. Eventually, he killed someone. Took a life so it’s only fair that his is taken. I don’t care how changed he is now because it’s too late. Pretending to be cool, religious, spiritual etc only because he’s locked up without any other option is comical. Should’ve found his ‘calling’ a few years ago and avoiding a lifetime of incarceration without the possibility of parole. I feel sorry for the victim’s family. All his victims didn’t deserve coming into contact with him. Good riddance!
Devon T. White and James Wesley Trotter followed Hye Soon Oh to her home where White robbed and shot Oh, killing her, while Trotter waited nearby in a getaway car. A jury found both defendants guilty of special circumstance murder. On appeal, we reject White's contentions that instructional errors require reversal of the judgment. However, we agree with Trotter that there was insufficient evidence to support the special circumstance as to him. We therefore reverse the judgment as to Trotter but affirm it as to White.

How tf he get a camera in prison like that?

I’m glad you are spreading a positive message because majority of these rappers be living false lives
Life Without Parole means there is a 99 percent chance you will never get out.
true
100 percent chance he won’t get out unless he wins an appeal he’s unfortunately going to die in there
100%
@@WhatHappenedToHollywood There always a slight chance. I have heard of a few people win a new trial, get their sentence reduced or acquitted. It’s rare but it has happened.
@@steve0758 Thanks for basically regurgitating what I said and putting it in your own words. You really wanted some attention that bad I see.
Damn 27 doing life w/o… He got a long way to go 🤦🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
All the way to the grave.
And he been in 7 already so 20 getting life without ..
Sheeesh
Unless he gets pardoned
@ he still got a long way to go he only got 7 years in
He should get out when his victim comes back from the dead...
He committed a severe crime, he took a life. But he takes full responsibility and he seems to feel a great deal of remorse. I hope he'll one day get a chance for parole or a pardon.
He took someone else’s life serving life without parole should be the minimum punishment that person who passed away because he couldn’t control his emotions will never have a chance to live again some states would have gave him death penalty so he should feel better about his life sentence
@@frenchwizard8045 I agree that a lengthy sentence is appropriate, but he should have a chance to redeem himself in society at an old age.
@ this is the main problem with our society killers can expect to have a normal life after spending time in prison. This is wrong if killers were sentenced to death or life without parole less senseless crimes would happen. Since this guy didn’t take someone life in your family you want him out @misterx3188 drink a few beers at the strip club and smoke weed to celebrate his welcome home smh
Yeah ppl always want these type of killers free when it’s not your family.
U can tell it’s hitting him hard his voice is shaky
As i have spoken to many individuals on emotional trauma. But I'm no therapist, but i do notice many individuals who carry childhood emotional wounds with them into their adulthood that these wounds reveal themselves is through the creation of a false self. STAY STRONG
No one in the comments should be passing judgment on this man no one
If anything they should be thankful they still free and had a great or good support system I’m adopted I was one of the fortunate ones to get taken in by family I never thought I would see 21 I’m 28 these videos give me hope every time I give up this dude ain’t never coming home
You dont have to pass judgement to know he belongs in there until he dies. That could have been your daughter he followed home and murdered.
@ you are correct but that does not take away from my statement it still applies
@@FrankWhite-i9k I hear where you coming from but one thing for sure we have to take responsibility for our actions and learn from them no matter what my profile picture is me a big black dude from South Central LA I promise I understand
he's a killer... are we suppose to have sympathy?
Everyone can change❤ no man its sad that good people r stuck in prison n got no chance of comming out.stay strong bro
Alhamdullah. May Allah Grace and Mercy be upon him and his family and the victim and his family. Allah knows best.
You have to have a major breakthrough moment that compels you to change your mindsets and choose a different path. For some people it's their children and family, for others it's religion , some or just tired of being humiliated that they endured while being in jail.
Criminals need to stop using growing up in bad environments as an excuse. Don’t matter how you grow up everybody knows killing and robbing is something you shouldn’t be doing. Hes a lil boy who needs to man up
Exactly
So why do you support the military?
Most ignorant comment ever lmao
"I turned 21 in prison doing life without parole. No one could steer me right but mama tried. Mama tried to raise me better, but her pleading I denied. That leaves only me to blame cause mama tried."
Damn…27 years old and will spend the rest of his life in prison…TRAGIC
Very sad but lets not forget the victim
@ of course not minimizing that…It’s tragic all the way around…But for the grace of God there go I.
@@mattk1438 yeah i agree its tragic all the way around 🙏🏻

Beliefs influence -> thoughts influence -> decisions influence -> circumstances
Never understood why. My grandpa said you can take the time to make the money or you can do the time for making the money. What makes more sense?
Some people's since birth life just was a struggle
Still no excuse to rob and kill. I was born and raised in Oakland, mother was a crackhead, and I never unalived anyone.
Facts man if people will hold themselves accountable and think before react things would be much better. Everyone seems to have feelings to much these days
Congratulations
That's great news, and yeah everyone regardless of their socioeconomic situation can choose a better path. I don't feel sorry for this man.
I respect you but everyone’s life situation is different. You may have never unalived anyone but that doesn’t make you better than him or anyone else. Lord only knows what else you’ve done in the streets of Oakland.
@@leonace3166 lmao bro I am a sociopath diagnosed one and I have never killed anybody. I have thought and crazy things would like to do but distract myself by doing other things. Stop using things as a excuse for people being stupid
I've been placed in several foster homes, abandoned, homeless, fathers in prison, single mother and I'm no crash out dummy I've never committed a crime murder etc I've gone through similar situations with childhood trauma there's no excuse.
Just because you didn't do it don't mean it's not an excuse. Ppl usage different brain chemistry. You don't understand psychiatry or mental health. Your environment can play a factor. Nature vs nurture.
@@Pwing313 facts some folks brain dead no wonder she a single mother in not married 💀😂😂
This makes no sense, he's not making an excuse he's admitting that he internalized certain behaviours that he shouldn't have. People are in the most expensive neighbourhoods and expensive schools but still commit mass-murder. What he's saying is don't internalize your surroundings if they're not positive.
@@CRAZYMAN2593-k4g karma 👁️
If you went through all that and still is bashing a man speaking then you haven’t learned a damn thing through any of that

I’m 31, it’s crazy he’s doing LIFE and younger than me
You never know as a kid where your gone be at until you get there.
I Work in a level 5 max prison. And lots of our guys are in for life. Its sad to see. Some guys were young and made poor decisions. But they have to accept the choice the made and the consequences that come with it. Ive seen lots of guys try to better themselves while locked up they work, go to school and church.
This was a great interview Subscribe
It's super arrogant to believe that if you were born with the same family, brain chemistry, environment, IQ etc, that you would simply be a better person. He is correct that children become their environment.
I am praying for this brother’s mental health and his continued growth. It would have taken a very strong environment to veer him off the negative path in front of him starting from the day be was born. On the other hand I have to keep in mind the victim and his family. This is all around sad!
may Allah bless this brother. I hope you see freedom again in this Dunya' and then Jannah. he seems like an honest soul and a redeemed person. wish the best for him.
Allah doesn’t exist
yeah, stay in there papi. you belong in there
Love you Cuzzo 💯💯🏆🙏🏾
Aug 8 2017. Thanks for talking about it brother
Wow “my mom had drugs in her system, so they took me & put me in the system.”
DEEP😢
Very knowledgeable and Solid brother. I was just in there with him. Shout out to the ahki abdul Rahman and free him.
Free who…this guy? You serious? He unalived and robbed a 67-year old lady. That could’ve been your mother or grandmother.
Apparently he is not knowledgeable since he ended up in prison for life.
@@cali2468 he said his victims name was Joe
*Jose
@@thebestkalani4664 It sounded like “Jose”. The victims name was Hye Soon Oh, an 67 year old woman.
Man I wish he would have made better choices he seems like such a good guy frfr. I pray blessings over your life man. Stay strong 💪🏾

All this sympathy for this guy in the comments but no one mentiones Jesuus who he mrdered in a robbery.
The thing that really piss me off we live in a society that respects the thug more than the victim
It's simply because we are humans, and humans have empathy. It's an emotional reaction to the story being told. Understanding the events that led a person to the ultimate sin. The victim is important, but we arent being told their story here. Im sure the comments would be different if we're told Hye Soon Oh's story, as well.
True story
The correct name is Hye Soon Oh, a 67-year old Asian woman.
@ a 67 year old lady makes it even worse, can’t believe people trying to make excuses for this guy in the comments
