this is not centre line method, in centre line you have to consider the T junctions, in your plan you have to consider 2 T junctions and total length of wall will be length-(number of junctions)×breadth/2
here we have two junctions . the formula is length - ( number of junction)x breadth/2 so they cancelled each other like 2 x breadth/2 is equal to breadth understood

Hello I was thinking during “centerlines method” you take the following into account. No. Of T junctions and excavation width/2. TW= CL- width/2 *No of T junctions
And where is T section deduction ? Because at the intersection of the wall you are including the region of superposition of walls so you have to remove that superimposition of wall portion .

1) foundation concrete:bed width=0.8m,depth=0.2m 2) foundation s. S. in paprapet wall calculation is varandah excluded, as paprapet wall is an extension wall ? and is varandah part taken in consideration for calculation of foundation work as foundation isnt required i guess ?
I think your centre line for earthworks is wrong , instead of focusing on 300mm wall you were supposed to extend both long and short walls by 0.9 (0.3 x 3 )2 from concrete footings , now the way you have done it is as if your excavation is 300mm wide so instead of 28.1m length I suggest you add (3x 0.3mm) twice on both long and short walls otherwise I concur with you entirely on the approach not necessary the answers.
DEAR, IN THIS CENTRE LINE METHOD HAVE ONE MORE EQUATION . YOUR TOTAL LENGTH IS CLEAR BUT WHEN YOU MENTIONED IN TABLE LENGTH IS DIFFERENT THERE HAVE ANOTHER EQUATION WE HAVE NEED. [LENGTH ANY ITEMS= C.C LENGTH -(1/2 * NO.OF JUNCTIONS*WIDTH OF WHICH ITEM YOU NEED )] . THE NO.OF JUNCTIONS ARE CONSIDERED AS A " T" JUNCTIONS HOW MUCH HAVE.
Brother your method is totally wrong. The lengths of the walls will change according to the breadths. You forgot all about T joints, and it made all calculations wrong. If you write this in exam teacher will give 0. No mercy. But i like your slow explanation, please learn the proper way first and then delete this video and do one more.

Salam Alikom- where is T section deduction ? Because at the intersection of the wall you are including the region of superposition of walls so you have to remove that superimposition of wall portion
Are you excavating for foundation all along the wall ? And building foundation all around the wall ? Brick work is done all around so we can take total length but why for excavation and footing all around the wall ?
Sir you are taking total length in earth work excavation but we are not dig total length of wall cross section we are doing earth work only at six palaces 3-one side 3-other side only please clarify sir
Good morning sir I have a one dought ..If you long walls do we excavate the land with the breadth of 0.9 m Then after short walls doing already land was exacvate in edges of short walls... But again you considered the total length of short wall..4+0.3 Instead of 4+0.3-0.45-0.45(already land was excavated in long walls)
this is not centre line method, in centre line you have to consider the T junctions, in your plan you have to consider 2 T junctions and total length of wall will be length-(number of junctions)×breadth/2

Shubh 9028
Right bro
Ya explain both center line method and long wall short wall method of residential building with more than 2 rooms
Very useful information dir for everyone special for new students
Thanks for helping finding Quantity
Is there anything like deduction of T junction while calculating wall length.?
Thank you Khan sahab!!! Stay Blessed and excel further
very nice and understanding video sir thank u so much for this
I think there are some corrections! Check the centre line method!
#civilengineersphilosophy
T junctions is double calculations why...not decrease T junctions area..
great work sir aage ka video jaldi bhejiye estimating costing ka cl method
really helpful vedio sir thanks for uploading
Walikum assalam sir bhaut shukriya sir
Bro... Foundation for External walll and centre wall both section are different then How you can apply for external and internal walls
Sir why did you not deduct t Junction length
in short wall u hv takn 4.3m
& in long wall u hv nt done 0.30/2

I also think that.
I also think that.
I tot we should consider working space in calculating the quantity of earth work in excavation...is it true??
I was also thinking that... (Y) excavation free area should be add ( 2*0.3m) =0.6m in long and short wall
Gggg
It is easy to understand if u calculate the length of long wall and short wall seperately( in description).

Length of long walls = 2 ( 3.5 + 3.5 + .30 + .15+ .15)
= 15.2 m
Is it correct?
Did he add .30 on wall then use the center line deduction for both?
Waliykum asslam
Length of long wall should be 15.5m. Notice that center wall between rooms
Super explanation
Nice video help estimating
Sir u estimate by centre line method but why u not deduct T-junction...
Plz answer me....
bro in this center line method u cant substraact coz this will be the actuall length right
Thanks a lot My Friend
Are you excavating for foundation all along the wall ? And building foundation all around the wall ? Brick work is done all around so we can take total length but why for excavation and footing all around the wall ?
Why u do not (-) junction in middle wall ?
Thanks Bro
Good Work
Calculate remaining categories in building i.e, painting, plastering,etc...
Fantastic explanation
Many thanks sir 👍👌
Difference between long wall short wall metnod and center lime method
Plzz can u do it in long wall and short wall method
Tahnk u so much
Sir can you please make a video of step by step construction process from footing to roof slab concrete
well done
thanks for your explanation
Good video plz add T joint calculation and DPC calculations
its very easy to solve , why you make it a big problem
why did you use volume in the walls instead of area
T junction deduction missing, net center line length changes I guess
sir apne junctions (-) q nai kia??

nice job sir very nce
You didn't tell about reduction in estimate.
U dint remove .5 times the value of t junction where middle wall meets
thnxx sir..how do setting out ?
bro,why not you add thickness of middle wall in length of long wall.i think length of long wall is15.5
