A little backstory on Jubie's biking poem at the beginning: He lived in LA for the last couple of years and he committed to commuting to work everyday, despite the harsh reality of how dangerous it was, so that he could get ride time in every single day. This is a poem that he wrote that he would recite in his head on the 7 mile ride there and back as he was dodging and weaving all the careless motorized vehicles on the way!
Is it wrong that I thought his nickname was "juvie?" I was thinking maybe there was some story about his troubled youth headed our way. :-) Glad everyone made it out OK, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE challenges like these when you get together with a group of friends and session difficult areas. That's what makes us better as riders, AND video can actually help you improve as well. At the 7:20 mark of this video, you see a GREAT example of how video can aid you with your riding by seeing FORK DIVE first hand. We added volume spacers to his fork a day later, and it made a WORLD of difference in his riding. ruclips.net/video/zukXyJsso-c/видео.html
Hannah did make a second attempt on that crazy switchbacky thing at 7:00 and she cleaned it much better than I! This video did an AWESOME job at capturing the fun of that day. Seeing Jubie drop off the side of the cliff and hearing Alexander's blood-curdling scream of "JUBIE!!!" at 9:47 is something I won't ever forget. Glad he was completely untouched.

You have improved so much from when I first started watching. You compel me to get out and ride even at the age of 54. Thanks for doing what you do I love your videos.
@@The_Sampler I am.. They make me wanna go on one myself. Was just talking about going to Iceland where I have heard Mountain Biking is becoming a thing. Cheers to you for doing what you do and doing it with such passion. :)
Damn! Props to Jubie for not dying on this ride! There must be angels or wings still left on the Pumpkin! Could Jubie be invincible? LOL good riding by all!

Excellent boys and girl is good to see you together. I follow each other from south France since a year now maybe more for Alex and it's always a pleasure to see riding with some friends like I do here with mine... Happy new year to this crew....I wish you the best.... So I got go now cos for me is a new bike riding day. LFRHGS!... Yiiiiiiou
Cool. Love all the sessioning on the climbing. So real. Your friend Judey was having a tough day on the "pumpkin" enduro. Hard jumping on a bike you are not familiar with. Sedona is gorgeous.
So fun to watch you ride this trail! I remember riding that same route - and rolling down that same giant boulder. I had flashbacks to standing at the top 😅💩. My first attempt I made the roll down - and then crashed into the bushes on the right 10 feet past the Boulder. Second attempt I cleaned it....but not sure if I ever need to ride that again. Happy New Year Alexander!
Thanks for making these. I wish I could ride like you guys. I never tried I don't own a down hill bike. Just a basic trail bike. But I love watching. I'm 6'4" 265 lbs so I'm not exactly light on my feet. I'd definitely love to try tho
Yooo The feature at 6:30, if you follow the line to the right where the girl is standing at the top it’s a 4-5ft drop off a rock into that lower area... just a heads up for next time!
As all ways great video to technical for me.I see the guy leading looks a lot like you.Ha Ha.And Mo looks like Tinker Juarez,he was a professional rider in the 90s.Ride Safe,Happy New Year to everyone.🚴

I really want to ride now,
But it's too cold to ride here (-12 degrees).
I envy you.
