Everyone starts somewhere, and he's starting with promise, and I'm amazed at how he didn't say anything back to his teammate, that takes some guts to hold in the anger.

I have been mad so many times at my teammates, but I was toxic only when they were as well (except it was really my fault (missed an easy save or gave a great pass to the opponents) (and yeah ikr being toxic isn't an answer to anything, I'm working on it)... yeah, my teammates fucked up easy shots and chances for me several times, but I just calm down and try to work out an other chance from that situation... And surprise, when we are down by 0-4 and my teammate is down mentally and wants to forfeit, a "don't give up, we can still do it, just believe in yourself" message can cause wonders and an insane comback resulting in a 5-4 or 6-5 win (not evrytime ofc) :)

Because I couldnt hit a ball back then when using ballcam. Now I easily can but back then ballcam confused me so much and Id rather hit the ball then not and I was terrible at the game back then. xD
I saw my teammate not reacting and I touched it to prevent it from going into the goal because my teammate woulda missed if you look at the video you can see that. Hence I did what I could at that time to try and prevent it. I was bad back then and was playing with others who werent skilled either obviously. Never claimed I was pro so yes these plays are bad but it was the best thing I could do to prevent the immediate goal from my teammate not going for the ball in time.
Markus L. Markus L. Yes, he might've missed it, but the point is you were ball chasing throughout the game. This was the reason why he was so toxic. The higher you climb, the more you will have to stop ball chasing. Ball chasing causes bad positioning and if you do continue to do this, you might think you have a better hit than your teammate and both of you guys will end up going up for it. If you are confused on why he was so mad even though you were scoring and ended up winning this game is because you were ball chasing. It's easy to ball chase, what's hard is to break that habit and trusting your teammate.
I am and wasnt confused. I knew 100% why he was saying what he was saying. Doesnt give him a reason to complain though. He was playing worse than me and I knew I could win the game but I didnt know if I would if i were to let him play so I decided to ballchase to keep up pressure because I was scoring goals through that and it was the safe way to win the game. I merely wanted to win. I ballchased back then either way but this was an extreme case because I knew I could win that way and ranked is about winning not about who gets to make the fanciest plays because they want to. if they want to touch the ball so much they should play solo or normals. And my ballchasing ways ended soon after. This was basically the first month of me playing rocket league. I am a bad gamer either way so my progress has always been slow in games but this was the beginning where I basically just learned how to not actually just miss the ball when it is stationary. it was basically my firstps4 game. I have climbed much higher since then sitting at plat 2 now. and i appreciate you trying to help but in any way this video was not to showcase any skills or have any way of justifying his behavior. he behaved inappropriately especially by wishing me dead and that can not in any means be justified through another person's actions in a game.

By basically eliminating the weakest link and turning it into a nearly 1v2 i made it easier to win. Winning is the idea behind ranked. Winning and improving. Sure 2s and 3s are about teamplay but sometimes you cant rely on every teammate to play well. Ive had drunken people on my team, people who were high, who were tilted or who just werent able to handle the opposing team. And just like people do to me when they are playing much better than me I took the matter into my own hands and won us the game. It aint like i was losing us the game hence he shouldnt be complaining at all.

I know why he said what he said but it doesn't give him reasons to be toxic. If I were losing us the game I could even understand if he ends up saying fu in the end but actually saying all this when I'm actually basically carrying the game is unreasonable in itself. He should just be happy he is winning. He shouldn't be whining just because he doesn't get to touch the ball. If I get carried I'm actually happy and not mad.
