Sia reso noto che la Musica Terapeutica di Bach mi ha aiutato a sconfiggere la mia Depressione. Soli Deo Gloria onore al grande Kappellmeister di Lipsia. Saluti da Lecce South Italy ❤😊
I think when a harpsichord like this one is surrounded with 11 strings, then in tuttis the sonics become unbalanced (the harpsichord is submerged), as we hear here. I don't know any solution to this problem except to reduce the numbers in the ripieno, or to mike the harpsichord.
Excellent, of course. I like the way the players STAND. I used to get my players to stand in a semicircle and actually (God forbid?) actually LOOK at each other??? And for heavens sake why don't they play from MEMORY? It's not hard! I've played, (many times) the Elgar violin concerto, the Kabalevsky, the Khatchaturian and of COURSE, the Bruch, Mendelssohn, Tchaikowsky, etc. always from memory. As my teacher, Galamian said "You don't know it from memory? YOU DON'T KNOW IT!!!" The kids at East Barnet Junior school had no trouble with Beethoven's 5th! Folk look daft gawping at the sheet music. After a concert once of Bach's Chaconne, my friend asked "How can you memorise so much music" . I replied, "Good God, woman! How could you possibly FORGET it!!!???".
You are right. Nowadays RUclips changes sync of videos, if you upload high resolution vids. Tonight I will upload two violin concertos let's see what will happen.
00:00 - Allegro

Don't forget to subscribe. New videos are coming.
I love the moment at 6:35 where the Harpsichord "goes berserk" ( semidemiquavers ).
Why a conductor?? The soloist actually has his BACK to him!!! No-one gives him so much as a glance!
A soloist? Looking at the MUSIC? BACH?????!!!!! Come ON!!!!
