  • So my last COVID-19 video didn't age too well. When I posted it in mid-February it seemed like containment was possible, and then a month later we found ourselves in the situation we are in now, quarantined and wondering when this will all be over. As one should come to expect by in this day and age, misinformation and conspiracies are rampant regarding the coronavirus, and each one is dumber than the last. Let's go through just a few of them now, and see if we can put a dent in this madness.

There Was a very stupid Dr. Lanka who denied the Existence of any virus and promised everybody who can prove that viruses are for Real i think 100 k €. The first who wanted to collect the money send i belive 4 Studys to forfill the task. Dr lanka did not want to pay and he won in Front of a court because he did not get one but four studys and this Was not what he demands... there this dr. @@varyolla435 A Memorial Day weekend report in the Washington Post on the state of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Unites States is flippantly titled, “COVID will still be here this summer. Will anyone care?”
The Post makes light of the stark danger to public health under conditions where cases of COVID-19, in many instances caused by new strains of the virus, have begun their summer climb a month in advance of last year’s trend, while beginning from higher level troughs than at any point in the pandemic.
This socially criminal indifference is par for the course for the newspaper owned by mega-billionaire Jeff Bezos. From the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic at the end of 2019, the Post has been a leading voice in minimizing the dangers posed by SARS-CoV-2.
But as indicated by Dr. Michael Hoerger, PhD from Tulane University, and data scientist Jay Weiland, who have translated SARS-CoV-2 wastewater concentration levels into infection estimates, COVID-19 levels began to rise in late April and reflect between 200,000 to 400,000 infections per day.
Hoerger remarks on the difficulties caused by the decision of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to end its contract with Biobot Analytics, which was providing critical information on the actual state of the pandemic.
He writes: “The PMC Forecasting Model will continue long-term. We have historically relied on Biobot wastewater data … likely in July, expect a new Model that will incorporate multiple data sources,” including relying on the CDC’s WastewaterSCAN.
The Post article confirms these concerns by pointing out quite frankly that the entire tracking apparatus, including hospital reporting, has been dismantled and public health advisories on mitigating the spread of the disease have been curtailed. It also notes that “free tests are hard to come by, [and] soon, uninsured people will no longer be able to get coronavirus vaccines for free.”
In short, when President Joe Biden ended all pandemic emergency measures last year, the lights were turned off, the premises were vacated, and the last four-plus years were effectively chalked up to a bad dream.
On the campaign trail, Biden can only feign concern and take potshots at Trump, while more Americans have died under his watch despite his promises to follow the science. His CDC director, Mandy Cohen, was promoted from her post as head of the Department of Health and Human Services of North Carolina, where a ban on masks is being pushed through the state legislature.
Cohen has all but removed the word COVID from her vocabulary. Trying above all to offend no one, in a recent interview with the New York Times she ignored the renewed surge in COVID-19 infections, the dismantling of the means to track the disease, let alone prevent it from maiming and killing millions more people, and deadly policies such as attacks on mask-wearing in her own state, and instead mouthed empty promises to focus on “protecting health and improving lives globally.”
In its recent article, the Post observes:
So, we’re left with a virus that continues to hum in the background as an ever-present pathogen and sporadic killer. The public health establishment no longer treats COVID as a top priority. Weddings, vacations, and conferences carry on as normal. Many who do get sick won’t ever know it’s COVID. Or care.
This stupid remark is in keeping with the newspaper’s derisory attitude toward the working class, which has suffered the brunt of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is also a remarkable admission and self-indictment of the criminal role of both the Democrats and Republicans, with the collusion of the corporate media, in carrying out an anti-public health campaign to conceal the dangers and promote a policy of “forever COVID.”
Just in the first four months of 2024, nearly 22,000 people in the US died of COVID-19, a rate higher than the seasonal flu, yet no major establishment media outlet has bothered to reflect on this development. While confirmed deaths in the US have reached 1.19 million, the central estimate of cumulative excess deaths during COVID-19 has reached 1.45 million.
A March 2022 study found that COVID-19 was five times more lethal among adults in low socio-economic strata (72.2 deaths per 100,000) than among those in high income brackets (14.6 deaths per 100,000). The authors noted that much of this was attributed to low-income people working at non-remote jobs.
These findings were further substantiated by economists Anne Case and Angus Deaton, who found that by 2021, the life expectancy gap between those with a college degree and those without a degree had widened by a massive 8.5 years. In their October 2023 opinion piece in the New York Times, they wrote:
What the economic statistics obscure in the averages is that there is not one but two Americas-and a clear line demarcating the division is educational attainment. Americans with four-year college degrees are flourishing economically, while those without are struggling.
They added that “worse still, as we discovered in new research, the America of those without college degrees has been scarred by death and staggeringly shorter life spans.”
      They continued:
Almost two-thirds of American adults do not have college degrees, and they have become increasingly excluded from good jobs, political power, and social esteem. As their lives and livelihood are threatened, their longevity declines.
These comments have been corroborated by the CDC’s data confirming that over 107,000 Americans died of a drug overdose last year.
Notwithstanding the lethality of COVID-19, Long COVID has become the most pernicious mass disabling event. Long COVID is a chronic disease that is completely downplayed by the CDC and the government.
The Economist, in a summary of the global impact of Long COVID, wrote last month, “In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, a new challenge has emerged: the phenomenon of Long COVID [a complex condition that shows no sign of going away].”
For the US in 2024, the Economist estimates a loss of 1.5 billion hours of work, for a GDP loss of $152.6 billion. As the publication notes:
National policy frameworks to support those living with Long COVID are often non-existent and, at best, under-developed.

      @@varyolla435 www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9422335/
      From the paper:
“To globally eradicate COVID-19, control interventions need to be safe, simple, and feasible. The ongoing control measures for COVID-19 disease, including disease detection, isolation, follow-up, contact follow-up, and quarantine of people in contact with the patient for up to 14 full days, are effective but extremely time-consuming, costly, and socially fragile. As a result, limited countries may continue such control measures over time.”
In other words governments refuse to implement measures because it would hurt the economy. Controlling the spread of this and every other virus(H5N1) will be second to the accumulation of profit.

He lifted his 400 pound frame off his bed wondering how many women he’d be able to harass on Xbox Live today when just then he remembered: today was the day. Today was the day he would finally get a chance to debate Christian sheep and slay their god in heaven. Excitedly, he got on his disability scooter and then into his 2007 Toyota Corolla. He drove to the hospital, scoffing every time he saw a crucifix bumper sticker and made sure to situate his fedora before he got out, parking in between two disability slots. When he entered, he got his camera ready, and going up to the third floor he thought “Reddit, the last enlightened place on Earth, will finally give me the attention I deserve and recognize me for my intelligence.” He entered into the room where his grandmother was lying and drawing her last breaths. A priest was standing next to her along with her children and grandchildren, anointing her and hearing her last confessions. “This is it,” he thought, “this is where I own those religiotards and achieve victory for atheism.” He boldly walked right next to his grandmother’s side and just as the priest said “may God bless your soul,” he bravely rebutted with “but there is no god to meet you in heaven. None of it is real. Your sky daddy won’t save you this time.” His grandmother looked on him in shock, opening her mouth. But then she slouched and a long beep was heard and her mouth remained wide open. “Yet another victory for atheism,” he said, looking at his family members who were stricken with faces of horror. “I’m sure they’ve finally realized their God is dead.” He opened Reddit, excited by the prospect of the karma he was going to get by posting the video he took on r/atheism.

@@NapaCat No, present tense. "Addicted" is actually an adjective: "to be addicted." Only verbs have multiple tenses. In this case, the *verb* = [to be]. Options for "to be" = am/is/was\ & /are/were/. In our case, it's singular and present tense, IS.
      Our full sentence is actually:
      > "I know someone [who is] addicted to conspiracy theories."
      > [who is] can be shortened to "who's," or just left out (as OP did). I bet that's what threw you off.
In order for the sentence to be past tense, [was] or [were] must be written out. That's how I know "who's = who is" and *not* "who was," which needs to be written out.
      > Both "someone who's addicted" & "someone addicted" do not include the necessary "was" to make it past tense.
Contractions: (all present tense of "to be")
      - I'm addicted. = I *am* addicted.
      - You're addicted = You *are* addicted.
      - He's addicted. = He *is* addicted. (Single)
      - They're addicted. = They *are* addicted. (Plural)
Trick: If a word ends in [ed] and is a past tense of a verb, then the word should already be a verb. Examples: jump(ed), kick(ed), laugh(ed), etc.
There isn't actually a verb based on the word "addict," because it's a noun.
      > Addict = noun
      > Addicted = adjective
      > Addictive = adjective
      > Addicting = adjective
      > Addiction = noun
      :) Yay English lol.
      - I *was* addicted to heroin.

to major cities), but a lot of people from this same city doesn't even know It exists (and It's the most relevant university in the city, federal universities in Brazil are really advanced compared to private universities, they literally make significant advancements on the primary sector, which allowed the be the one of the most advanced on several agricultural commodities) and, even if they know It exists, they probably don't know what the scientists even do there, so some people resorts to some completely nonsensical conspiracy involving major heads of the goverment for """"economical gains""""" (seriously, I could go over the proper economical bit of why "big pharma" would actually want the consumption of say chloroquine rather than develop a new medication, the complete opposite of some major conspiracies related to "big pharma", just say the word and I go over that), what would make fu***** Keynes want to rise from his grave to slap these people in the face (I know I want to).

As someone that works in the telecom industry, especially in construction, I can't tell you how many times I've had someone randomly come up to me near a job site and ask about 5G. Even people who work in tandem with us ask about it, and it makes me want to facepalm every time. I've even had one person threaten me and my crew. In North Carolina a crew was actually shot at.
Side note, radio frequency waves can actually be harmful if you're exposed for a certain amount of time and you are very close to the source. For most antennas (the coffin looking ones), you basically have to bear hug them for an hour or two to start feeling the effects. For the round microwave dishes (my specialty), the actual beam that gets shot out is very narrow, usually less than a foot in diameter, and you would have to be in said beam to get dosed. Said beam is highly focused, so you would feel the effects much faster. The tech that can really dose you with RF are AM and FM transmitters. FM transmitters look more like tall, thin antennas or several almost pretzel-like shapes. Those can hit you hard, but they are pretty short-ranged, so a lay-person would almost never get within said range.
TL;DR 5G isn't any more dangerous than 4G/3G/etc. It's all the same tech.

From basic research on the guy he seems to do much the same thing as Ben Davidson. Just flashes papers claiming something when in reality the paper doesn't say that. Have to disagree when you say "...back to normal." Sorry, but 'normal' is one of the things that got us into this shit. 'Normal' was not being prepared. 'Normal' was some governments actually destroying pandemic plans because, well, we haven't had one since 1919 so who cares? 'Normal' was allowing science education to get so poor that people fall for shit like you're describing. It is something best left for the experts to find out. He did not rule out lab leaks, but a lab leak does not legitimately mean "bio-weapon". It is still something to be confirmed 100% by investigation. Which is far from the point of this video. The #4 he said is absolutely correct
