I bought one of these in the mid 90s. Intending to make my own games like u used to on the c64. I took one look at the documentation that come with it. It then it only ever got used as a standard playstation would. I think it ended up in the attic at my mum and dads house. They are both passed away now and we dont have that house any more, so its long gone. Also in that attic we're all my original g1 Transformers, literally hundreds of star wars figures and vehicles, action man, action force and he-man figures and various other valuable toys, including a transformer called Metroplex, unopened in box complete with factory cellophane wrapping on, because i got 2 of them one year for Christmas. I saw an auction a few years ago, where a Metroplex in that exact same condition sold for either £40,000 or $40,000. I could have paid off my mortgage and retired on what toys and trinkets got left behind in that attic. I wonder if the peopke that bought my parents house ever found the stuff (it was in a side room if the attic that had a hidden door on it, so unless you knew it was there, you might not realise its there) and if they did, did they keep it, sell it, throw it away? To some people it might have looked like crap they didnt want to deal with and ended up in a skip. That woukd be a crying shame.

Wow. I'd love to be there and see that in person. Never seen a black version though. Think mine was gray. Only if I'd known back then how much people would pay for those 30 years later 😂
The normal grey ones not worth that much, there are some rare games worth a few hundred. This black console was the Net Yaroze was sold to hobbyist developers with a lot of spare cash and as a result they're very rare and worth a lot of money complete or even with the Access Card.
@johnphillips4783 oh wow. So to have the black version would be a one in a million opportunity to get ahold of then. Especially in such condition. Niiiice. Good for them. That's pretty friggin cool 😎
Aup dude its a bit hard to explain but if you put into google maps Grange Avenue, you drive to the top of there and then turn left into some big white gates that is our carpark :) next time you come if you give our shop a call ill be able to direct you over the phone :)
