What a conversaton. James is so profound..His insightful responses and thoughtful approach truly showcased his remarkable talents and dedication to his craft. Demonstrated exceptional expertise and proficiency in music, fashion per see. Truly inspiring to witness your passion and mastery firsthand.
Kind heart and respectful guy. He’s gonna be a good mentor and you could see and feel he cares about his fellow artists and in general to people around him. I wish and hope he’ll make it international. As well as his group and the artists he’s managing. Suggestions: ( this is being said with respect and I’m hoping it will be taken as a constructive criticism because that is my intent ) For the interviewer/her team/director/writer/editor, you’ve lost a lot opportunity to deep dive on matters that seems important for James to talk about and seems projecting ( like his talent in writing music and as an actor and his personal info; and his other potentials / goals ). That we the viewers would like to hear more about, that’s why we invest our precious 30 minutes or so of our time . There is lack of spontaneity, and lots of repetition ( Is it because the interviewer is nervous ?; or depends too much on her cheat sheet and trying to fill in the requirement 30 minutes broadcast ). ( Thanks to James, he was able to answer the same questions in a different way and navigate the awkwardness of the repetition ). Most interviewers ( and their team ) do their homework in advance of knowing who you will be interviewing and or the topic of the event, ( that will give the interviewer the confidence in what he /she is discussing/asking. The resulting interview becomes spontaneous , interesting and relaxing to both those in front of the camera and us the viewer . We will also get something valuable out of the conversation ) . It will also appear that you have that enthusiasm and genuine interest to know more about who the person is . Rather than mere accomplishing your itinerary/box to check . Always remember: when you talk to a person, be it in front of a camera, in an audience or a person you are talking to, it’s a respect to genuinely be interested / listen in what they are saying. Otherwise, do not engage in a conversation. Or leave the conversation respectfully.
