- Hi guys! In today's video we're repainting this fashionistas barbie doll to give her a new face ^^ I went for a semi-realistic style for this, but you can change up the style for a more cartoony look by making the eyes bigger.
Materials:
Doll of your choice
Acetone
Mr super clear
water color pencils
Chalk pastels
Glaze
wooden sticks
Hot & cold water (for curling hair)

Great faceup! I think all my dolls have freckles lol! I have started to leave a lot of blushing until after the eyebrows and eyelashes because it is a lot of work to have to redo!

Ooh I saw a good method of curling using draws..you cut half the straws length wise and put them on top of the straws with the hair curler around to hold hair in place!

Very clver how you curled her hair, I definitely have to use it sometime. Thanks for this video. I am interested in trying to repaint a dolls face, but I´d like to start by adding just a bit details or maybe changing their lip colour instead of repainting the whole face. It would be so cool to see a video of that kind of process if you are interested.

Beautiful doll! Do you wet the watercolor crayons at all? I am trying to repaint a Disney doll and I find that my pencils don't build up very easily when dry, and look awful if I wet them... 😅 any tips? Thank you 😊

Quick question. When you spray the three layers of Mr. Super Clear on the doll, do you have to wait for each layer to dry before adding the other? And also, where can I by Mr. Super Clear spay?
