I remember hearing this when it was released and thinking this Night Ranger band was one I needed to keep my eyes and ears on. Then I discovered Don't Tell Me You Love Me. I was mesmerized by the guitars. Sounded like this was a new "classic rock band" emerging. And then I heard Sister Christian and When You Close Your Eyes, 7 Wishes, etc. What the heck happened to these guys, right here? Since so much of their catalog was more 80's pop-rock and power ballads, I have to assume that DTMYLM and YCSRIA were the unexpected but appreciated outliers.
Cant believe its over 40 years since I first heard this... and you can still rock in the UK too!!
Jeff Watson and Brad Gillis , one of the best guitar tandems ever .. Watson especially was on fire the first few NR albums

Yes kids, "you can still rock in America." Even without earbuds and headphones.
