I am using Vivaldi, I have been using it for close to a year or so, and I can't see myself switching away from it for my primary browser, I love the sheer customizations, super easy CSS support, quad page tiling, the workspaces are really nice for staying organized, the keyboard shortcuts are really cool too, there is one where it will hide the browser UI, which is my favorite one, built in translator, notes, and so much more
It hit the 20 year mark a couple of days ago,so technically it's true. I started using it in 2005, because I was still using Netscape and that was my main for a while.
I'm commenting for engagement, because this type of video needs to hit more people. Go on, algorithm, show someone who doesn't know what an adblocker is yet.
Yeah, I was a die hard chrome user for years. I switched over to Firefox on my phone and computer about 9 months ago and have no regrets. It also seemed like my spam email went down, but I don't know if that is correlation and not causation.
Hey Caddac, Thanks for the video, it was super informative. Currently, I'm still using Google Chrome, but I am busy changing over to Firefox as my daily browser. On my Laptop. About a month ago I switched to Firefox on my mobile works really well and as you said ad-blockers on mobile are really nice! Take care.
The only problem with Firefox is that Google is a really big chunk of their revenue model. This explains why Google is the default search engine. It also explains why Firefox allows collecting data for ad purposes. Despite of that, I'm keeping up with Firefox since the alternatives didn't yet pass the test of time.
I'm using Edge but i'm looking for an alternative, i keep getting breakpoint and server_access errors, pages will just randomly crash while using it. Only using 2 extensions too that being ublock origin & blerp (for twitch) so i'm looking for a more stable browser without worrying about ads or pages locking up randomly......my issue with firefox, Twitch streams always go blurry.....
I wanna switch to Librewolf but Firefox's history UI and other UIs looking like its from 2003 and i don't like that at all, not only the look but also function of the history is awful.
Thanks for the mention, Caddac!

I've exclusively used Firefox for over 20 years and I'll never change.

fanaticism is never good for anything.

You can always use a Firefox fork.
@@_Caddac I value more stability than new features. Forks didn't pass the test of time.
@richardgomes5420 I disagree but you do you. I've had better experience with floorp than baseline Firefox in terms of stability and problems

Already using Firefox desktop and mobile. Thinking about adding the Betterfox user.js.
Try it out, if you don't end up liking it you can just remove it :)
as a Linux user i like Floorp
gonna switch from Chrome to Floorp
Great video, thanks for this info.
Floorp on the desktop and Firefox on mobile. 👌
I'm using Coc Coc, with free integrated VPN and free integrated Ad blocker. I'm happy!
I am most happy with Vivaldi so far although I use various browsers.
switched from chrome to edge. its great. loving it...
That makes no sense.
Brave ✊
Found this video because I wanted an updated answer to chrome alternatives. Commenting to hopefully boost the algorithm.
And I hope the video helped!
@@_Caddac certainly gave me a starting place to go off of! Still researching, but I appreciate the insight you offered
So, Chrome is going to switch to Manifest v3 earlier than Chromium Based ones? So for how much longer can I keep using Arc till it updates to MV3?
They are developing their own blocker, and in windows 11 they enabled the feature in chrome browsers that allows v2 extensions to run untill june 2025
