Thanks Phil good advice....I’ve started to give my flock fermented feed and yogurt regularly and ensured that their coop is kept clean. I also found using Kombucha in their water every day in fresh water ...cheaper than apple cider vinegar and easy to make. Kefir yogurt is also very good.
If anyone knows if sodium bicarbonate would help........

Thank you so much. You've opened up my eyes. This is such valuaby information. A lot of vets don't have information about birds, so your videos help a lot.

You suggested apple cider vinegar and garlic in the water. Is there a specific concentration? And what form of garlic do you use? Also, is this safe for ducks? I have two ducks in with my hens so I need to make sure that any treatments I use on the hens won't hurt the ducks either.

Suggestion: Don't use vinegar in a galvanized water can. Your birds can get metal poisoning from the chemical reaction and your can will rust.

It may vary depending on which brand you purchase as to what they advise, but as a guide we usually recommend about 20ml per litre of water

Thank you Phil for making this video. My sweet bird Ruthie seems to be experiencing an impacted crop. If you have good advice for a natural remedy, I would appreciate it!

If I can't eat it safely, then I don't feed it to my hens.
